I've always loved making things. As a kid, I was the kind of girl who would make handmade dolls (from felts), ornaments, cards, and send them to relatives at every occasion.

I love colors... lots of colors! I guess with beads, I can explore lots of color combinations easily and that's what I enjoy the most--selecting beads for the piece I'm creating. (And I can't resist the shiny Czech glass beads!) I love arts and crafts in general, but I'm not too good with paints. I remember in elementary school, I just wanted to use lots of colors and would mix all my water color paints...and always end up with that gross greeny brown color... But I'd like to draw again. Next on the list; pastel crayons. I did porcelain painting with the kids the other day, and I enjoyed that too, I want to do more!

In case you're wondering what "iroiro" means, it's "color-color", or "all kinds of" in Japanese. (I'm a European Japanese living in Canada.) Literally, I use all kinds of colors for my creations! "-ya" just means "shop"...I had to compromise because the user name was taken!!!
