I have played with paper all my life.
I have read books since before I was in Kindergarten.
It only stands to reason that I would eventually combine the two...

My wreaths are hand fashioned from antique and vintage children's books, foreign language books, cook books, etiquette books, medical books, agriculture books, song books, 19th century classics, and more. You should be able to find a wreath for just about any profession or hobby from time to time in my shop. These unique paper wreath sculptures will add a vintage, whimsical touch to your house or apartment. They are the perfect house-warming gift, and would certainly dress up any decor.

CUSTOM ORDERS: I welcome custom orders, and can send you a list of books from which to choose, or I can use a book of yours that has sentimental value. On a custom order, the center medallion can be designed to coordinate with the theme of the wreath or to display a name, date, etc. Custom wreaths are perfect for a wedding, an anniversary, or a birthday gift!
Custom orders are not available for advertised discounts.

~ CUSTOM / MADE to ORDER wreaths ~ purchase by December 7th to be made, shipped, and received in time for Christmas. I will be closing custom orders for Christmas delivery the morning of the 8th.

A Look Ahead:
The first couple of weeks in January 2010, Simple Joys Paperie will begin to overflow with tokens of love inspired by the 18th and 19th centuries. Items will include vintage book paper wreaths, puzzle purse valentines, and other paper whimsies of a romantic nature.

NOTICE: If you are looking for snow folk or a few other paper whimsies you have hearted, I have removed them for a holiday show in NY. Any unsold items will be returned to the shop around mid December.
