Professional Web designer and certified Search Engine Optimizer (SEO) since 2003. A thorough knowledge of the search engines is essential to successful Web design. Search engine optimization includes research into the "traffic" for keyword phrases, such as "hand made jewelry," and including keyword information and other necessary elements in the design and development of any Web site. These elements will insure that a web site if found, indexed and ranked by the search engines, resulting in potential new business from search engine traffic (people who do not know you and find your Web site searching for the products or services you are selling).

I am a professional Web designer and professional graphics designer offering free-lance Web designs on Etsy. I've had my own small business for six years, working out of a home office that I share with my two very playful and fun cats, Boss and Myles. They love to either sleep on my desk while I work or wrestle with each other - I hear thumping sounds behind me often as they throw each other around!

Before starting WingsDove Creative Source in May, 2003, I worked as programmer and systems analyst for over 2 decades. I love combining my programming abilities with my artistic abilities.

I am in my fifth decade of life with a disability. It is easier and more enjoyable for me to work from a home office. Although I have lost some mobility I have rediscovered my creativity.

My Art education included Fine Art as well as Design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In my life I have painted in oils, sketched in pencils and charcoal, and illustrated. After working in Information Technology for a few decades and following a life changing experience in 2000, I took my personal "plunge off the cliff" in May, 2003, followed my dreams and started my full-time creative work with a lot of trust and "on the Wings of a Dove."
