Bio

I am an aboriginal/Native Canadian Ojibwe artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. I enjoy painting with acrylics because of their versatility, and am inspired by aboriginal legends from different nations across North America.

So what is a Taibossigai? Taibossigai is the original spelling of my maiden name, Debassige. My family originates from Manitoulin Island and North Bay in Ontario. I was born in Thompson, Manitoba and moved to Edmonton, Alberta to work and live with my husband, Lyndon and my cute black cat, Maho.
