Able and Game offers cards and stationery that are quirky and cute rather than cliche and predictable. The cards feature hand drawn designs of weird and wonderful people that are a off beat and stand out from the crowd.

Able and Game will be launching its Valentine's Day cards in February 2009. The range is eccentric, yet truthful and romantic, instead of the usual cards that feature bunches of roses and boxes of chocolates.


Able and Game is a new stationery label by Anna Blandford (from http://annalaura.etsy.com) and Gareth Meney. In the lead up to Valentine's Day 2008, Anna made some hand drawn cards featuring weird and wonderful boys and girls making big statements of love.

In May a range of Mother's Day cards were created and Gareth proved his worth by coming up with funny quotes that were poignant and thoughtful but without the mushy schmaltz.

After looking at the range of cards on offer in a big department store and realising that there was nothing either would want to give to their own Mother they decided to create Able and Game.

Anna is the able and Gareth is the game and the new range of cards will be available for Valentine's Day 2009.
