My name is Elisa and I live in sunny/rainy Florida. I'm a high-maintenance hippie: engineer by day, handbag designer by night. I recycle religiously, mainly because I hate the thought of landfills.

PRODUCTS:
All of my products are made from repurposed, upcycled, and revived materials. I use materials I already have, such as remnants from past sewing projects, clothing I don't wear anymore, and vintage fabric and notions my grandmother passed to me when she cleaned out her sewing room. I also shop at thrift stores for great fabric patterns on blouses, skirts and the like. The only *new* materials that go into my products are the notions and interfacing that I don't already have, however most notions (zippers, buttons, metal rings) are salvaged from other garments.

Every handbag is designed and sewn by me personally, in a smoke-free and cat-friendly workspace, and begins its life as another item of clothing (or two, or three).

I pride myself in my ability to take a ghastly garment, look past it to the potential of the fabric, and transform it into a fabulous handbag (that no one would ever have guess used to be a pair of brightly-colored floral capri pants!).
