Bio

A long time ago I started my grown-up life being a weather forecaster for the Met Office. It was a great job but life changes made me have to up-root and spend-time making sure maps were labelled correctly. After a while a new calling came to look after children which finally led to my finally having my own bundle of joy.
Whilst waiting for small child to appear I started to knit. I started to really enjoy it. Then I discovered lots of exciting yarn. Crochet was then a logical step and I realised, hang on, I'm not that bad at all this.
Now I'm a self-confessed yarn-aholic and I've taken up weaving this year to further broaden my obsession with anything yarny.
My aim is to produce cosy objects to wear or to decorate the house for anytime of year.
My inspiration comes from my past-lives and my lovely surrounding environment of the West Coast of Scotland.
