Bio

Hi! My name is Nan, and I have been attracted to art ever since childhood. I’ve always loved painting, drawing and pottery, and I am a graduate of Michigan State University in art education.
I didn’t discover jewelry making until about five years ago when my sister took a jewelry design class----and then she taught me everything she learned!!
An addiction was born that day!!
I love experimenting with color, and also with glass and stone combinations. I find Southwestern and African jewelry irresistible, and tend to lean toward earth tones.
“Design” is very important to me, and I often take a necklace apart three or four times in the process of making it---to achieve the best design.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind, and made with love overlooking the beautiful St. John’s River in Central Florida.
