I am a small town Southern girl who wishes I had a grandmother's attic to pilfer for treasures to create my jewelry! For two decades I was a photographer, then Hurricane Katrina changed everything down here on the Mississippi Coast, including me. Shortly after the storm, I found some old rusty keys in a pile of hurricane debris and a eureka moment ensued: "These will make cool earrings!" My Katrina Key collection was born that day and one thing led to another...

Fast forward four years. I have now left my full time job in the legal profession and am attempting to become a full time artist--my one true passion in this life!

I live contentedly now with my sweet husband and a sweet but sassy kitty cat named Dollar (she was found as a stray in a Dollar General store!)

Life is good!
