Hi, my name is Karin & welcome to my shop.

I have been a crafter/creator of art since I was a child growing up in the country in Northern California. I have an MA in Cultural Anthropology with a specialization in folk art.

My shop features natural fibers or found ephemera from nature or local flea markets as well as repurposed and/or recycled materials. Sometimes I use felted sweaters, scraps of fabric & ribbon, wool roving, and linen. I have also fell in love with knitting wire into unusual jewelry.

I feature a variety of items here at my shop because I need to keep experimenting to keep me engaged in the artistic process. The connecting thread in this shop is fiber & yarn, fabric, knitting, hand sewing and incorporating the treasures I find along the path of my life.
