Hello friends,

We are Paul and Jill of Tipsy Time Machine.

Nestled in the Canadian prairies, is a two story pre-war timber frame house, that is 99 years old, with hardwood floors and oak trim. The decor is an eclectic mix of vintage and modern, mass produced and handcraft. This is our home, Jill's studio, and Paul's office. We're self employed, and trying to make a go of it in these tough economic times.

There isn't enough room for all the unique and fantastic things Jill sees (and can't resist buying), so to stop Paul from going freaky bananas, we decided to open an etsy shop. Since we love vintage bar ware and Dr. Who, we picked the name Tipsy Time Machine. Later, after we discovered the time machine option on etsy, we had a good laugh over our serendipidous choice of name.

We can't agree on a favourite era and have different tastes: Paul loves futurist Art Deco, Jill loves the Eames era and has a taste for the wacky. As children of the 70's we do have a weakness for avacado, harvest gold, and orange, alternatives to the beige houses of today.

As they say, they don't make things like they used to. The vintage items we choose to sell are solid, but because they are pre-owned they may have small defects which we do our very best to describe in our listings because we want our customers to be happy with their new treasures.
Everything is cleaned to the best of our ability(unless otherwise noted), linens are washed in baby detergent, so you won't be beset by strange odors.

We are eco-friendly and reuse shipping materials whenever possible. Our home is smoke free.
