Thank you for taking the time to find out more about me ::
I hope that my love of plants and nature are honored through my jewelry.
I have been working with PMC for three years. I finally set up shop on etsy in January 2008.
*PMC is an eco~friendly silver! It is composed of recycled silver and organic binders in a clay form. When heated to high temperatures in a kiln or through torch firing, the binder burns away, and it becomes .999 fine silver.
I fire all of my pieces in a kiln and fire at the highest possible temperature. I also tumble the pieces that will receive rough wear, such as rings.
Fine silver is a good option for those sensitive folks who may not be able to wear sterling silver.
I also work in Bronzclay*, which is a new medium, released in 2008.
*Bronzclay is a clay form of bronze, that after firing in a kiln for an entire day becomes true bronze (89% copper, 11% tin).
Wearing bronze is similar to wearing copper jewelry.
Also, I use 20 gauge sterling silver for my ear wires. This size wire is comfortable for most people to wear! Occasionally, I will use natural brass, which is nickel~free.
Thanks so much for your interest & support.
Please be sure to read the Shop Policies section too for the shop business stuff!
