OUR PHILOSOPHY

Since polaroid originals are not reproductible as a photo in any way (cause there is only one negative and is not possible to duplicate it) doesn´t make much sense to present the prints as a “photographic copy” or “scanned photo” of an original. Those considerations doesn´t do justice to instant film. We decided to give the prints the trait of an “art sheet” that contains the charming and misterious of the original. For that reason, we use matte coated paper (200gr) and professional digital print process. This method is similar to that followed in art book publications as “Instant LIght: Tarkovsky Polaroids” (Thames & Hudson) or “The Polaroid Book” (Taschen). The edition process, from the scanning to printing, is made carefully to achieve the better fidelity to the originals.

COEURENBOIS (Marta) has born in Alicante (Spain). She became a polaroid-girl in the right moment a vintage polaroid camera fell in her hands. She develops her work in the field of graphic and art design and publicity.

BUHOAZUL (Eduardo Martínez) has born in Cádiz (Spain). His photographic work have been featured in LightLeaks Magazine. At present he is taking part in the international polaroid exhibition “1instant” (http://unpeuflou.com/instant/2instant.html).
