my name is bonnie forkner and since i was little, i’ve always loved learning to create things. i’m often in search for the next creative endeavor and enjoy being at my home- crafting or cooking. i love to sew and anything that requires it. in the last seven years, i’ve become a knitter, a gardener, a candle maker, a cook, a jewelry designer, an illustrator and a keeper of chickens!

i live with my amazing husband, david, and our awesome doggie- toaster the golden retriever! life is good on our tiny homestead. i work with my mom at her creative sewing and quilt shop and am in love with fabric!

i have for years been interested in food and where it comes from. we strive to eat and cook more sustainably, more locally. it has opened a whole new world of food, and of thankfulness.

i’m inspired by the simple beauty that is found everywhere in nature. i live in the mountains and every day is like waking up in the most beautiful place in the world. the inspiration is endless! i love creating things that make me and my space feel like a home- cozy, snug, peaceful, beautiful. bright, airy and lovely is what makes me feel happy and is what i strive for in my work.
