Bio

Paulabirdy is me, Paula Gibbs.

I finished a degree in history in 2002 and then decided to return to art + illustration, my first love. I have certificates in Children’s Book Illustration and Natural Science Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design and I draw and paint whenever I can. Most of my Paulabirdy work is done in ink with a watercolor wash, but I also enjoy blockprinting, gouache, colored pencil, and Gocco.
