Bio

WeSpinAngora is a joint product of both Tina and Christine so we decided to do a combined bio.


Tina lives with her husband and daughter in northern Georgia, although she is originally from the midwest. She's been an avid knitter for over 25 years and has been spinning for about 10 years. She has finally realized her dream of owning her own fiber animals. Her small heard of angora rabbits live happy, fuzzy lives in the backyard barnyard. Other fibers for blending are purchased as close to home as possible. This is a good way to make sure the animals are treated humanely.

Christine's Bio: I recently discovered a part of myself that loves to create when I decided to make handmade soap with some extra goat's milk. That first rough cut bar of soap was a catalyst to my love for creating one of a kind gifts for my friends and family. From soap to items knit with yarn that I handspun the adventure continues. I hope to share the amazing angora wool with you and help you discover the joys of such a beautiful fiber.
