I am an artist who enjoys colored pencils, pen and ink, acrylics, watercolor, and working with clay.

I have been selling ACEOs and small clay creations online for about a year. I have 100% feedback on ebay under the name bethsmacre, but I'm currently trying to build my business on Etsy.

My subjects for drawings and paintings range from simple still life to whimsical illustrations to abstract. I create tiles, vases, wall art and designs using kiln fired clay. I recently started offering custom tiles made for customers who would like personalized tiles for gifts to friends and family, or just for themselves.

I have been teaching art in the public schools for 25 years. I love to experiment with different subjects and materials and create in my spare time. I hope to retire in a few years and concentrate on my art full time. For now I've got 2 kids to put through college, so I will have to continue to do both for now! But teaching art keeps me young and more creative.
