Bio

I Grew up in a small town where everybody knows everybody. Art has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl, I have pictures of me painting when I was barely able to hold a paintbrush! I can remember always wanting to skip out of kindergarten to stay at home and make crafts with my mom. My sisters are crafty too, one is even an art teacher. We are very similar in our tastes and sometimes butt heads because we are so alike in the things we make. We travel around and do art shows together and people know us as the artsy Thibert girls. When I'm not doing art I'm out rollerblading, canoeing, or hanging out with my cat which by the way loves making crafts with me, he "supervises" while I make my stuff, and occasionally steals and destroys the evil fuzzy items he thinks I need saving from (R.I.P. Christmas eve 2009). I love working with vintage items and I like to think of myself as a little nostalgic (you'll find many vintage items adorning my workspace) I find the past to be very interesting and inspiring I love to think about how the button I am using on a new ring used to be on maybe someones favorite outfit 50 years ago and now it might become someones favorite accessory today. I am also a very detail oriented person I get a lot of satisfaction out of spending that extra minute or 2 ..or 20 getting my items just right. If I am going to create something I want it to be durable and look good, quality is very important to me.
