My name is Celeste Johnston. I am a forty year old yoga teacher, and artist living in a rural Alberta town. I have been married to my high school sweetheart,Jon, almost seventeen years.We have three beautiful children...Dylan(17) Joe(12),and Rhianna(10).Our four-legged kids include,Bear,Lily...and Miss Daisy,and Cooter, our Golden Retriever puppies. We have a very fun, and BUSY life!

Art has always been a part of my life.My father is an artist, and I grew up in an environment steeped in creativity...wonderful art,crafts,literature,and music. I became fascinated by the human form as a little girl watching my dad draw. I find most of my inspiration in life's ordinary moments,such as a mom playing with her kids, a couple holding hands...

My art is a personal statement of the gentle beauty I see in human nature everyday.My intent is to express the grace of emotion,and physical form. I love the endless experimentation that comes with painting. My style is always a work in progress.
