I'm sure many of you are wondering what enjôleuse means.
Well, what does it mean?

enjôleuse means charming in French. Or so I was told...

All enjôleuse crafts including the greeting cards are designed by hand. It all starts with a vision, that vision becomes black and white, black and white becomes a creation. The creation is then painted and comes alive. You can get each card embellished with either glitter, ribbon, or some other such fancy. Since each card has the personal touch it will not be exactly like any other.

enjôleuse greeting cards are original works of art. They are personally handmade just for you. We hope you enjoy them.

The Artist

Kimberly Pelkey is the artist, graphic designer, and creator of enjôleuse. Her work is influenced by anything vintage, European fashion design, antiques, and all that is unusual or different. enjôleuse designs are playful and unique with a bit of whimsy. She creates the unique handmade designs from her home studio. Kimberly is a former CIA member. Okay, she got her degree there (Colorado Institute of Art) in Graphic Design. You can say many of the designs are a bit girly . . . okay, a lot girly. However, she is working on some more manly designs. For now, we are sure you'll find a wonderful card that is most approriate for your girlfriend, fiancée, mother, sister, daughter, or other special woman in your life.

Kimberly hopes these greeting cards will bring you as much joy in your life as they do her in designing them for you. It's like receiving flowers from a loved one. May you be uplifted and filled with joy when an enjôleuse card comes your way and when you send one.

The Reason

enjôleuse was created because Kimberly would create cards for family and friends as a hobby. The hobby turned into a business. She thanks all her friends and family for their inspiration, support, and admiration that made enjôleuse possible.
