I have always been interested in sewing from an early age. My grandmother used to do embroidery and taught me basic stitches but it wasn't until 1994 that I started a City & Guilds embroidery course and have never looked back.

A new idea, the planning, making and its fruition I always find it exciting and rewarding.

use of colour, hand and machine embroidery, handmade felt, handmade paper, stitching on brown and tissue paper, constructing background fabrics by layering
