I am an artist currently living in Washington DC, born in Bryce, VA in 1987.

I decided I was going to be an artist when I was 6 years old, and it was something I never changed my mind about.

There are moments in life with certain contrast, color, lighting, and patterns, that I am completely amazed and fascinated by. There are certain elements, as subtle as they might be, that I can only apply to the fullest of their potential in paintings. One of the reasons I strayed from the idea of photography for much more than reference, as wonderful of a medium as it is.

I have high quality reproductions made of my original paintings by the National Geographic in downtown DC. They are inkjet on canvas prints. Some people refer to them as "Giclée", which is just a fancier way of saying the exact same thing.

I can never hold on to my original paintings very long, which is why reproductions are completely necessary for me. Especially considering the amount of time that goes in to every one of them.
