Cheeky -
At the age of 16 I had decided where I wanted to study and what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. That was to be a Professional Photographer after I had completed a BA of Photography from RMIT. I went on to study at the university of my dreams only to finish my degree with the realisation that this profession was not for me.
Then the search began. I did freelance retouching, worked in pre press, did web design and project management. Even though I found that I enjoyed doing most of those jobs, that real joy you get when your doing what you should be doing was not there.
Starting Cheekyweeky with my very dear and close friend Wee Keat is that place. That place where I find true joy and peace within my soul. It’s where all the skills I have learned thus far and hope to learn in the future come together. I only hope that the joy comes across in my work. Who knew the things I enjoyed at 7 years of age was the point of it all?

Weeky-
I originally moved to Melbourne from Malaysia to complete a BA in Marketing and Management from Swinburne University. Once I finished my degree I went on, like many others, to do everything except what I have a degree in. I have been everything from a waiter, cook, ABA therapist, computer salesman, graphic designer to web developer for the last ten years.
During all these jobs there has been my constant love for all things creative. Be it music, sketching or photography. Cheekyweeky has been my opportunity to really explore, develop and sharpen these creative passions. The chance meeting of my partner in Cheekyweeky has been a great path changer. Who knows what else we can come up with and create!
