my dream is to have a little store in a vintage travel trailer.

i live in sunny florida where the air is warm and humid. the sunshine is absolutely divine. and it's really nice when it rains. the orange trees are blossoming right now and they smell sweet as can be!

i make a little of this and a lot of that. and i always seem to be making something. i am most happy when creating, crafting and constructing. ..you'll find a smattering of all that happiness in my etsy shop.

*going to my favourite thrift store always leaves me teeming with ideas and inspiration. i love looking at all of the forgotten and discarded things from over the years. i can't believe the things i find. it takes lots of self-disipline and self-control to not bring home a car load of stuff every week! i thought i had gotten over my collector issues but, they seem to be re-grouping. the evidience is hard to hide (even from myself) when it comes in the form of vintage luggage. i just can't help myself. the colours, shapes and materials they used are beyond any resistant behaviours i can muster. using the rule that everything should be useful and purposeful didn't stop the collecting it just changed what i collect. i've just opened up a little sister shop selling some of my vintage treasures...check it out if you like: sidedish.etsy.com
