An Army brat that's finally somewhat settled after a childhood spent....everywhere.

In my "real world" time I'm mother to two incredible little men, and creator of cupcakes at a fantastic bakery in Knoxville. MagPies bakery is THE best place to go for cupcakes! In my off hours I create- food, jewelry, art, knitted things, more food. My favorite creations are my jewelry, mostly because they last longer and sparkle more. ;)

I love Etsy! I got on here originally when I found a cute pair of cupcake earrings made by ajillionpieces. I wound up buying a LOT of cupcake jewelry from her. It is so great to feel connected to the person who is making the items that you buy. Knowing that human hands crafted it versus a machine stamping it out is wonderful. I decided to start selling my own jewelry, and made a choice to support the Etsy community by sourcing 95% of my components from other sellers. This means that my profit isn't as high, but I'm happy as a clam.

Little known fact-I can kill any plant with my TLC. Seriously, I have a black thumb. If you know of an unkillable plant (other than kudzu), please let me know.

I LOVE to read. Especially stuff intended for middle school age children. Artemis Fowl, The Bartimaeus Trilogy, A Wrinkle in Time....I could go on.

My daemon (as given to me by the official Golden Compass website) is a snow leopard named Achaeon. Which I love. Snow leopards are so beautiful and mysterious. purr...
