~*~ About dizzy frog designs ~*~
The name "dizzy frog" was inspired by my very first "creature" project. I came across a pattern for a frog when I was pregnant with my baby and I ended up making it for him. The final outcome was a frog with dizzy-looking eyes. It was an instant hit with both my son, friends and family.

I was inspired to make more dizzy frogs and other creatures. I have since made 7 other animals (elephant, octopus, bird, piggy, bunny-rabbit, ladybug and turtle) I love watching them come alive as I crochet. They take a few hours to make from start to finish, crocheting all the components and then stuffing and stitching them all together. Each one is made with love and anticipation and each one is unique in its own special way.

I am a twenty-something year old fun-loving girl, who learned how to crochet at a young age and have just recently taken it up again since being married to my wonderful husband of 3 years. It is no longer something that only grannies can do. I am a stay at home mommy to my wonderful August '08 son. I also enjoy knitting and other crafts - I love working with my hands! Now that I am a mother to a growing little baby boy, I enjoy making things for him, whether it be blankets, hats, wall art, or toys.
