Bio

My name is Emily, and I recently graduated with a bachelor of science degree in chemistry. I hope to attend medical school sometime in the near future.

I've loved beads and creating/wearing jewelry for as long as I can remember. In girl scout camp, I made friendship bracelets for practically everyone I met. I started selling seed bead flower necklaces to my friends and family in fifth grade. When I was in high school, I became interested in making chainmail jewelry. Unfortunately, by the time I got into college, I found that I no longer had sufficient time for my favorite hobby.

I met my husband while I was at school. We got married in July 2009. I decided to make all of the jewelry for myself and my four bridesmaids. I started making test necklaces as soon as I got home from school, and since then I have been unstoppable. Making jewelry is my way to unwind and forget about everything else. Hence the name of my shop.

I recently decided to try my hand at selling my jewelry here. I really love making things for others, and I'm eager to please. Making the jewelry for my wedding has sparked an interest in making formal jewelry with crystals and pearls. However, I also have sort of an edgy side. You may find some items in my shop to be unique, unusual, and/or unexpected.
