Thank you for visiting my shop.
My name is Makiko. I am from Japan and currently living in Canberra, Australia.

I feel like a little hobbit over here in Australia. I like to bring my small interesting dreams to life with my crafting talents.
All “Hobbity” creations are designed and produced by me.I work with various types of media such as felt, paper, fabric and clay to produce soft toys and accessories.

Some of my creations are inspired by Japanese folk art and try to express its nostalgic flavour. My craft works are also inspired by the contemporary Japanese craft scene and I like to add a little bit of “Hobbity” taste to them.
