Bio

By day, I design web sites and databases, and map processes involved in conducting clinical pharmaceutical trials. (Yes, it's fun and amazing stuff.) But nights and weekends, I shop for yarn and fabrics to make scarves, bags, hats, and other accessories. I'm always thinking up a new project!

I have a BA in Commercial Art, and web and graphic design is my area of expertise. I've always been enthralled by both art and technology. When I was little, I made my own computer... out of popsicle sticks. My best friend and I made all sorts of furnishings for our dollhouses, including clothes for our doll families. Now I use those sewing skills I picked up while we were playing in her mom's scrap bin.

What inspires me? I actually make things I would want to use for myself. (And I *do* use them myself!) If I think of something useful, I figure out a way to make it.
