I'm Kandice Seeber, a glass beadmaker from Washington - 35, married and have two kitties - Pumpkin and Ember. I love color!!

I've been making lampwork beads for about seven years now - something I really love doing. I fell in love with beads in general while working at a fabric store many years ago, and started beadweaving and making jewelry. When the world wide web came along, I discovered other artists who....gasp!....melted glass and made their own beads! I was hooked.

I took my first class (a gift from a group of fellow beaders online) in Portland, and then apprenticed with a local lampwork artist and friend for a month or so to learn the basics. Then I got my own studio going and the rest is history!
