Bio

Crafting for me sprouted out of my bouts with poverty. Instead of buying new clothes throughout school, I just altered the ones I had scored at Goodwill. When I couldn't afford an envelope to send a letter to a dear friend, I used an old magazine to make one. When I would fret about my lack of funds as the holidays approached, I had to hunker down and create from what I had at hand. Usually those gifts were the life of the party, of course.
Just recently, after a bout of working three jobs on Ocracoke Island for the summer and having multiple comments and compliments on my handcrafted brooches and earrings, I decided to take this crafting thing to the next level.
