Bio

The names francie. I grew up on the west coast and found my way to the midwest a few years ago. Mom passed along her love of sewing to me when I was very young. Soon I was in love with it as well. My sewing projects range from the simple to detailed and elegant. Currently I am working on building a portfolio of unique wedding dresses that can be made from hemp silk blends or repurposed bridal gown fabric. Think Pretty In Pink recon but where the dress is actually cute. But my mind can't stay on one level all that long. So often times you will find me stitching up art quilts for the walls.... or hippie patchwork dresses..... or big comfy winter coats..... or funnest of all, fantasy clothes for kids and not so little kids :)
