The question I am asked most often is: Why Rosella’s?

Rosella was my Great-Aunt on my Dad's side of the family. When I was a little girl, just able to walk, I followed Aunt "Ross" everywhere. She taught me an appreciation for puzzles of all sorts. For whatever reason, I have always dreamed of a little store called Rosella's. Now I have one. That is Aunt Ross in my avatar.

I have many hobbies and interests but they all lead back to creating interesting things. I have always loved found treasures (junk) and am happiest when my table is covered with bowls and container of things to browse through for inspiration. I think that comes from Aunt Ross and her love of puzzles - taking a vintage whatsit and creating something new from it. Nature is another important tool in many of my creations.

Glass fusing is a new interest and I have many ideas bubbling in my head, simmering, waiting to find a way to be expressed. I think I may need to take more classes and learn more techniques in this field.

Just a note on the crocheted portion of my listing. I happily donate baby and preemie items to two different charity sites. At least 50% of the proceeds from my crocheted items will go to buying yarn and fleece to make items for the babies in need.
