Welcome to Avalon Sewing Co.!

My name is Lhay. I make all kinds of drapery, bedding and pillows, along with crib sets, dog beds, rock band pillows, tote bags, baby slings, amplifier covers, and most recently t-shirt blankets and baby picture pillows. I welcome special orders and *especially* love edgy or unusual requests.

I am a Southern girl, seamstress, artist, writer, singer, photographer, businesswoman, car-pool mom, rock star. I started sewing at 30 and slowly developed my hobby into a thriving small business. I am also a part-time musician, and my band "The Paperwhites" plays around the South MS/NOLA area. But because I put my family first, sewing and music both come second when somebody yells "MOM!!"

My long term goal is to develop a way to assist women in need- maybe unwed mothers, or women who are starting over?- with my creative skills. I know that when I am ready, the path will open.

Please let me know if you receive your order in incomplete or poor condition. If you receive anything that is defective or otherwise does not live up to the promises I made, I will do whatever I can to make it right. * Other orders are often shipped in recycled (ugly!) boxes unless otherwise you specify otherwise. Please convo me for other shipping questions.
* Returns within 14 days please. Items must be in saleable condition.
* Refunds for store credit only.
* Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
* All sales are final on custom orders.
* Colors in photos show up true to life on my monitor, but may read differently on yours. I am happy to send swatches upon request, or provide Pantone reference numbers.
