What is a Catherinette?

A Catherinette is a woman who has reached the ripe old age of 25 and remains unmarried. Because many unmarried women worked as milliners (hat makers) St. Catherine also became the patron saint to women working in the millinery industry. At this point- I think that makes me a Catherinette for life.

Katie Stack has been making hats and accessories for a decade. In her "real" life she is a Theatrical Milliner and Costume Craftsperson. She lives and works in Washington DC with her cranky old cat and an apartment full of craft supplies and ephemera.
