Hello! I'm so glad you came to see my work! I'm a self taught wire and jewelry artist who loves sharing the art through teaching. My favorite things: flower gardening, reading, writing, and spending time with friends, family, and my dogs - Brodie and Mae. We have recently added a new store to our etsy family. I came upon jewelry making quite by accident - a serendipitous thing! I was recovering from an illness and needed something to do with my hands. My daughter brought me a beaded bracelet kit from a retailer whom shall remain nameless. I made it and thought I could make something prettier than that....and then I discovered beads shops. I began shopping in them, working in them, and teaching in them.
Then I got sick again...this time it was a bit more challenging. I had brain surgery followed by an infection that developed into Bacterial Meningitis. After recovering, thinking I was Superwoman, I went four wheeling in the mountains of Montana - only to be thrown off and then rolled over by a 700-pound machine. Ok. So much for invincible. I wasn't hurt though the bruises were really black!
I came back home, prepared to jump back into my life of teaching and retail only to wind up back in the hospital for another brain surgery - this time to repair the havoc wreaked by unknown Staph infections that had been rollicking around in my skull for ten months. Yikes!
I've decided that God has a plan for me. After all, I am still here! I have all my fingers and toes. I can still talk and walk. I can still create. I use the gifts I'm given and I give God the credit. This is what I am, and who I am, and I stand amazed.
Did I mention I'm also a full time Mom, Wife, Westie and Wire Hair Fox Terrier owner?
It's always good sharing my life and the miracles in it with you. I hope you enjoy my designs. I'll be adding things often so check in on occasion to see what's new! I have loads of things ready to sell just not enough time to get them all listed.....Take care and Thanks again!
