--Type of yarn (small and thin--baby weight, or fluffy)
--Brand of yarn (best to go to a local craft store and feel their baby colored yarns--find your favorite)
--Colors (do you know the sex of the baby? does mommy dislike certain colors??)

--Timing--fluffier blankets made with thicker yarns, like Aiden (the green and white), Abigail, and Alexa, work up quicker--approx 1-2 weeks--than blankets with thinner yarn and more detail--like Patrick.
