I created this linear beaded hanging from copper wire, an eclectic mixture of black and purple glass beads, and a little bat-shaped metal bell. The beads loop together with twists of annealed copper wire, and all this hangs from a copper wire loop.

This beaded decoration measures 35cm (14") long. It could be hung by a window to catch the sunlight, or in any corner of your home to add colour and a bit of spooky handmade style. It would look great anywhere in your home as part of your Halloween decorations, or displayed all year round so it can be Halloween every day. I know I wish it was ...

Emerald Heart - a beaded steel pendant on thrifted chain

In this necklace, a beaded heart pendant hangs from thrifted steel chain. This heart was made from steel wire and a mixture of glass beads in shades of emerald green. It measures 6cm (just under 2.5") high and is 5cm (2") high. With the chain and the heart, this necklace measures 56cm (22") long in total. However, the lobster clasp can be fastened through any of the chain's links, allowing this necklace be adjusted. It can therefore hang at its full length, or be as short as you like.

Although the majority of the metal elements in this necklace are steel, the chain has the look of old brass, and the steel wire has a much warmer, yellowish tone than is normally seen in steel. The brass of the vintage leaf charms that hang from the chain tones well with these colours. These heart-shaped leaf charms are made of a dark green plastic that also tones well with the green glass beads of the pendant.

Purple Star - a necklace with a beaded silver pendant

I made the main pendant for this necklace from silver wire and three beads in glass and Amethyst. Hanging from this pendant is another star, a steel one, repurposed from another necklace. The large star hangs from two loops that are attached to purple cord. This purple cord fastens with another loop and a hook at the back. The cord measures 46cm (18") long, and the silver star is 4.5cm (nearly 2") wide. The combined length of the two stars is 8cm (just over 3").

All metal on this necklace is silver, apart from the small star which is made from steel, and the jump ring this small star hangs from, which is an unknown metal.

This necklace comes presented in a recycled gift box.

Double Star Necklace in steel and beads

This necklace consists of two stars, hung on black suede cord. A green plastic neon star, and another star in steel wire and green beads. The ends of the steel wire used to make this star have been filed so that they don't scratch you. I added each pendant to a separate part of the cord, giving the look of two necklaces in one.

As the soft suede cord the pendants hang on is adjustable, you can shorten one part of the cord so that the two elements are apart, or adjust it again so that the wire star sits on top of the other star, or lengthen it completely to make a long necklace, however you want to wear it. The third and fourth images show just two of the ways in which this versatile necklace can be worn. This cord was bought from gracies.etsy.com and the plastic neon star was repurposed from an old keyring.

The wire star is about 6cm (2.5") wide and 5.5cm (just over 2") high, while the plastic star is 3cm (just over 1") high and 3cm (just over 1") wide. The fabric cord on which the pendants hang is 71cm (28") at its longest, and, as previously mentioned, is fully adjustable.

I created this star pendant from steel wire and three red glass beads. This star hangs from a repurposed steel jump ring, which hangs from red leather cord. This cord fastens with a steel loop and hook at the back. Including the loop and hook, the cord measures 47cm (just over 18") long. The star pendant measures just over 7cm (3") wide. This necklace comes presented in a recycled gift box.

This necklace would look good with almost any outfit. Wear it alone or layer it up with a longer necklace, co-ordinate it with a red dress or clash it with purple, whatever you want.

I created this lucky black cat from annealed copper wire and an eclectic mixture of glass beads. Black beads adorn his torso and tail, while two turquoise beads and a triangular purple bead make up his eyes and nose. A loop of black ribbon at the top of his head allows him to be hung, on your wall or anywhere else you like. See him hanging from a tree in the fifth image - just like a cat!

From the top of his ears to the tip of his tail, this cheeky little cat measures 19cm (7.5") tall, and just over 6cm (2.5") at his widest. (Not his fattest! He might be offended by that.)

I made the main star shape in this sculptural suncatcher from 1.2mm thick galvanised steel wire. Within this star, there is a mixture of purple glass beads, on steel wire approximately 0.6mm thick. This suncatcher measures 16cm (just over 6") from the tip of the hanging loop to the base, and 14.5cm (just under 6") at the widest point of the star itself.

I made this mini mushroom suncatcher from glass beads, silver-plated wire and red wire. A network of wire in the top of the toadstool holds a mixture of clear and frosted white glass beads, while a raindrop-shaped glass bead hangs inside the stem of the mushroom.

This little suncatcher measures 5cm (2") wide by 6.5cm (2.5") high, and hangs from a 4cm (just over 1.5") long loop of clear plastic thread.

This sculptural beaded suncatcher features three hearts in gradually increasing sizes. I created this piece from steel wire (wire which has a much warmer, golden tone than is normally seen in steel) and an eclectic mixture of red glass beads. I've also used chain repurposed from a necklace, and a ring from a keyring (which I have passed through a flame to give it a similar golden colour to that of the wire and chain).

This suncatcher measures 25.5cm (10") long from the top of the hanging loop to the bottom of the largest heart, and 9.5cm (just under 4") at its widest part. It could be hung by a window to catch the sunlight, or in any plain corner of your home to add colour and a little quirky, handmade style.

This design, Repurposeful Suncatcher, is so called because almost everything in it has been repurposed from something else. This piece, measuring just over a foot long, consists of gems and beads hanging from, and held together by, chain and twisted steel wire. The faceted plastic gems were repurposed from a belt, as was the chain. The purple plastic beads were originally part of a bracelet. The blue glass beads, and steel wire are, however, new.

I made this star-shaped suncatcher in patriotic colours, in honour of Independence Day. You may wonder why a Brit would make something in honour of an American holiday. Well, I graduated from my Crafts degree on the fourth of July, so this date will always be important to me. Also, having been on Etsy for a while, and Etsy being a great international community, I now feel more of a connection to the US. Of course, red white and blue are also the colours of the Union Flag, so this piece represents British patriotism too.

The shape of this star was created using steel wire, to which I've added a mixture of red, white and blue beads in glass and plastic. The star itself measures 15cm (6") high and 10cm (4") wide. It could be hung by a window to catch the sunlight, or perhaps on a wall or door.

Key to Number Three - a lucky necklace

This piece is the third in a series of pendants featuring lucky and favourite numbers. To make this necklace, I created a heart from copper wire, within which is the number three. A brass skeleton key stamping with a verdigris patina hangs from this heart, hence the name Key to Number Three.

This good-luck pendant hangs from turquoise leather cord with a loop of copper wire. This cord fastens with a hook and loop in the same copper wire. Altogether, the cord and loops measure 48cm (19") long. The heart pendant itself measures 6cm (just over 2") high, 9.5cm (just under 4") altogether with the loop it hangs from and the key that hangs from it, and is 5.5cm (just over 2") wide.

You could buy this pendant for yourself, and wear it to add a talking point to any outfit. It would look particularly good worn with something in green, teal or turquoise. You could also give it as a gift, perhaps to someone who has a birthday on the 3rd, or give it to anyone who, like me, just has a thing about the number 3.

Aqua Photo Holder - a functional decoration in wire and beads

I created this photo holder from robust yet delicate 1mm thick steel wire, and adorned this wire with an eclectic mixture of glass beads in shades of aqua, turquoise and blue. Along the 53cm (21") length of this piece, the wire forms three swirls, in which can be placed photos, postcards, ACEOs, cards, inspirational images for your studio, or any other small flat things that take your fancy. This decoration can also be hung without photos or cards - on your wall, at your window, or anywhere else you like (although it is not, however, designed for outdoor use).

This heart has been made from 0.8mm thick copper wire and three dark blue glass beads. One of these beads, which I believe was commercially produced in a very pretty millefiore style, has been repurposed from an old bracelet. This pendant measures 6cm (just under 2.5") high and is 6.5cm (2.5") wide. The dark brown leather cord this heart hangs from has been tied in a way which makes it adjustable. At its longest, the cord measures 66cm (26") long, and it's about half that at its shortest. Therefore it can be worn as a choker or as a longer necklace, making it quite versatile. The fact that dark blue goes with most other colours adds to the versatility of this piece.

This heart has been made from fine steel wire (about 0.7mm thick) and a mixture of green glass and plastic beads. It measures 6cm (just under 2.5") high and is 6.5cm (2.5") wide, making it almost as large as my heart suncatchers. The soft leather cord the heart hangs from has been tied in a way which makes it adjustable - just move the knots along it to change the length. At its shortest, the cord measures about 44cm (17"). At its longest, it measures about 82cm (32").

I created the main outline of this bird-shaped hook using thick galvanised steel wire, then added decorative elements of blue glass beads on fine steel wire. The thick steel ensures that this piece is sturdy enough to hang things from, for example jewellery, while the beads make this piece decorative as well as functional. Loops of wire enable it to be nailed or screwed to a wall or door at four points; the back of the head (as shown in the fourth image), the beak, the tail, and the breast.

This item measures 12cm (just under 5") high and is 13cm (5") wide.

The main outline of this heart-shaped hook is made from 1.2mm thick galvanised steel wire, while the decoration within the heart is a eclectic mixture of blue glass and plastic beads, with a plastic butterfly charm, on thin steel wire. This piece measures 8cm (3") high and is 8.5cm (just under 3.5") wide.

This hook can be hung, from a wire loop at the top, on the wall or door of your bedroom, or indeed in any other room. This cobweb wall decoration, which measures 16cm (just over 6") at its widest point, has been made from fine steel wire. All the sharp ends of this wire were tucked under so they won't scratch you.

This web can be hung any way up, from one of the corners or from the middle, whichever way you choose. You could even hang it in the corner of the room, so that one edge is on on one wall, and the other edge is on the adjoining wall. It could also be used to hang earrings from, as seen in the fifth image. It's really rather versatile!

Vintage Flowers - a necklace with vintage and thrifted components

To make this necklace, I re-assembled pieces of thrifted steel chain, some dark grey, some more pale and silvery in colour. From the centre of this chain hangs a vintage black Lucite rose. There are sections of the darker chain at either side of this, from which hang small clear vintage Lucite flowers with black faceted glass bead centres. Each of these small flowers hangs from a section of silver-plated wire. There is a section of darker chain at the back of the necklace, coordinating with the darker chain at the front. This chain fastens with a lobster clasp.

This chain measures 41.5cm (just over 16") long. With the large steel jump ring it hangs from, the rose pendant measures just under 4cm (1.5") high.

Wear this necklace to add a hint of romantic goth to any outfit. Literally any outfit in fact, as the black and white look of this piece means that it really will go with anything.

Vintage Flowers - earrings with vintage and thrifted components

I made these earrings from silver-toned chain, repurposed from an old necklace. Hung from this chain, on each earring, are small clear vintage Lucite flowers with black faceted glass bead centres, each hanging from a twist of silver-plated wire. From the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the key charm, each earring measures 7.5cm (3") long.

As these earrings are monochrome, they would go with any outfit, adding a little unusual style to any look. A coordinating necklace is available (see fifth image), so you could even match them with that. The necklace is available here:

This tree has been made using copper wire and a mixture of red and green beads made of glass and plastic. One of these beads, a lampwork bead in a millefeuille style, has been repurposed from an old bracelet. There's also a little star/flower shaped bead at the top of the tree. This tree measures 13cm (5") from the tip of the hanging loop to the base, and about 11.5cm (4.5") at the widest point of the tree itself. It could be hung by a window to catch the sunlight, on a wall or perhaps on a door, or on your Christmas tree.

I made this heart from annealed copper wire and an eclectic mixture of red and pink glass beads. It measures 7cm (3") high and is 6cm (2.5") high. Wire-wrapped loops attach this pendant to red leather cord, which fastens with a copper loop and hook at the back. Altogether, this necklace measures 53cm (21") long.

This necklace would look good with a variety of outfits. Co-ordinate it with a red top, clash it with a purple dress, use it to add interest to a plain outfit or wear it with an already colourful outfit for an eclectic feel - whatever you like.

Halloween Copper Pumpkin Lantern

I know it's a bit early to start thinking about Halloween, but ... What am I saying? It's never to early to start thinking about Halloween!

This tealight holder was inspired by Jack-o-Lanterns, hollowed out pumpkins used as lanterns to scare off the evil spirits on All Hallows' Eve. I always thought it was a shame that those pumpkin lanterns only lasted for a few days, so this tealight holder idea was born out of the wish to have something more long-lasting. It can be displayed on its own, with your other Halloween decorations, or even with a couple of my other copper pumpkins, which will be listed very soon.

This piece was created from a single sheet of copper, cut into a length of five ovals. I cut a face out of the middle of this, then bent it into a five-sided pumpkin shape. It measures 7cm (3") high, and 6cm (approx 2.5") wide. Its five sides curve under to give a stable base for a tealight (see fourth and fifth pictures).

This bat-shaped pendant has been made from copper wire and a mixture of glass and plastic beads. There are four dark green glass beads, two neon green plastic beads and two black plastic beads. These black beads co-ordinate with the smooth black leather cord from which it hangs. This cord has been tied in a way which makes it adjustable; approx 51cm (20") at its shortest and 98cm (38.5") at its longest. The bat itself has a wingspan of 16cm (just over 6"), and measures just over 4cm (nearly 2") from its ears to its bottom.

Red Beaded Bangle

I created this bejewelled bangle from 0.8mm copper wire and an eclectic mixture of beads. There are plain red plastic beads, swirled red glass beads, tiny red leaf-shaped beads, clear vintage Lucite flower-shaped beads, copper bali beads, and heart-shaped Indian glass beads. The wire weaves between these, creating swirls and waves, which both decorate the bangle and hold the beads in place.

This bangle has a diameter of 7cm (nearly 3") and is 4cm (just over 1.5") wide.

The size of this piece makes it fairly chunky, a definite statement piece, although it is very delicate at the same time. You could wear it to give a focal point to a simple outfit, or you could even wear it to coordinate with other detailed accessories, perhaps one of my beaded necklaces. It would look great with clothes in neutral earthy or strong fiery tones, especially red.

Keys to the Stars - chain earrings with plastic star beads and metal key charms

I made these earrings from steel chain, repurposed from an old necklace. Hung from this chain, on each earring, are three plastic star beads, each hanging from a twist of silver-plated wire. These beads were also repurposed from an old necklace. At the bottom of each earring hangs an antiqued silver-tone metal key charm. From the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the key charm, each earring measures 9cm (3.5") long.

Wear these slightly kitsch earrings with your favourite pink or purple outfit, or to give a little quirky colour to something a little more subdued.

Key to Number Seven - a lucky necklace

This piece is the second in a series of pendants featuring lucky and favourite numbers. To make this necklace, I created a heart from stainless steel wire. Within this heart is the number 7. An antiqued silver-tone metal key charm hangs from this heart, hence the name Key to Number Seven.

Wire-wrapped loops attach this good-luck pendant to purple leather cord, which fastens with a hook and loop in the same steel wire. Altogether, the cord and loops measure 53cm (just under 21") long. The heart pendant itself measures 4.5cm (just under 2") high, 7cm (2.5") altogether with the loop it hangs from and the key that hangs from it, and is just under 5cm (just under 2") wide.

You could buy this pendant for yourself, and wear it to add a talking point to any outfit. It would look particularly good worn with something in purple, indigo or blue. Beaded Christmas Tree Decoration

I made this Christmas tree using an eclectic mixture of yellow and green beads, strung on copper wire. Most of these beads made from glass, some are plastic. A few of these beads have been repurposed from jewellery. One of the glass beads, a commercially-produced lampwork bead, has been repurposed from an old bracelet. Another of the repurposed beads, a large, multi-faceted plastic one in mint green, was also originally part of a bracelet.

This spiderweb pendant is a delicate yet striking piece. It It has been made using fine steel wire (about 0.7mm thick), and measures 5cm (2") high, from the top of the loop to the bottom of the web itself, and about 5cm (2") wide. All the sharp ends of the wire were filed so it won't scratch you when you wear it. Plus all these ends were tucked under, with the remaining wire wound around them, to give further protection and a nice wrapped effect.

Key to Number Thirteen - a lucky necklace

To make this necklace, I created a heart from copper wire. Within this heart is the number 13. Unlucky for some but, despite (or perhaps because of) this, I've adopted thirteen as my lucky number. A brass skeleton key stamping with a verdigris patina hangs from this heart, hence the name Key to Number Thirteen.

Wire-wrapped loops attach this good-luck pendant to turquoise leather cord, which fastens with a hook and loop in the same copper wire. Altogether, the cord and loops measure 51cm (20") long. The heart pendant itself measures just under 4cm (just over 1.5") high, 6cm (2.5") altogether with the key, and is 4.5cm (just under 2") wide.

This spider was taken from a sketch I made of the spider logo from last year's Spiderman movie (see fifth picture). It was made using copper wire and three glass beads, two of which are dark blue, and the other is an orangey shade of red, colours which recall the radioactive (or genetically modified) spider which bit Peter Parker.

This spider measures about 8cm (3") wide, and is 10cm (4") high. It hangs from a loop made of thin string. This spider can be hung on a wall, on a door as pictured, by a window to catch the sunlight, or anywhere else you choose. It would also make a great Halloween decoration.

I made this Christmas tree using sparkly pink plastic beads strung on steel wire. It measures 10cm (4") tall, and about 7cm (just under 3") at the widest point of the tree itself. The steel wire I've used has a much warmer, yellowish tone than is normally seen in steel, giving an almost golden colour which compliments the beads well. The pink ribbon this decoration hangs from also tones well with the pink beads.

Why not buy a pink Christmas tree? Not every Christmas colour scheme is red and green, after all. If you're a girlie girl, you might want a pink look to your home at Christmas, or if you like delicate, icy colours, this piece would also fit in well. I created this bat pendant from silver wire and a red felt bead. Wire-wrapped loops attach red leather cord to its wings, and a loop and hook in the same silver wire fasten it at the top. The pendant has a wingspan of 11.5cm (4.5"), and the whole necklace measures 49cm (just over 19") long.

This skully suncatcher has been created from copper wire, two purple glass beads (the darker of which is firepolished Czech glass), one green glass bead, three grey plastic skull beads and one purple and green multi-faceted plastic bead. I made this cobweb pendant using purple wire. It measures 9cm (3.5") high and 7.5cm (3") wide, and hangs from a 94cm (37") length of purple cord. This cord is tied in a way which makes it adjustable, so it can be worn short, or extended to almost waist-length.

This pendant is a delicate yet striking piece. It could be worn as part of the current trend for statement necklaces, and would also suit you if you're into the cuter side of the gothic style. This spider-web pendant was made using fine steel wire, and measures 7cm (just under 3") high, from the top of the loop to the bottom of the web itself. All the sharp ends of the wire were filed so it won't scratch you when you wear it. Plus the wire ends on all the corners have been tucked under, with the remaining wire wound around them, to give further protection and a nice wrapped effect.

It could be hung from cord or chain and worn as part of the current trend for statement necklaces, and would also suit you if you're into the gothic style. This butterfly pendant has been made using fine steel wire (about 0.7mm thick) and a mixture of beads in red glass and maroon-coloured plastic and wood. This combination of ribbon and chain measures 47cm (18.5") long in total.

I created this linear beaded decoration from copper wire and a contrasting colour combination of orange and black glass beads, six of which are repurposed from old jewellery. Most of these beads are opaque, and there is one translucent orange bead in the middle. Two of the orange beads, and one of the black ones, are commercially produced lampwork beads in a very pretty millefeuille style.

This item measures 21.5cm (8.5") long. It would look gorgeous hung from a window to catch the light, especially with some of my other suncatchers (see fifth image). It would also look great as part of your Halloween decorations.

In this necklace, a heart pendant, made from fine copper wire (0.8mm thick) and a mixture of peach-coloured and clear frosted glass beads, hangs from thrifted chain. This heart measures 5cm (2") high and is 5.5cm (just over 2") wide. The thrifted chain this heart hangs from has a 7.5cm (3") long adjustable section, allowing it to be 50cm (nearly 20") long at its longest. I've customised this chain a little, adding copper wire and two glass beads to coordinate with the pendant. It already had clear plastic beads on it too, which I've left there.

This spiderweb has been made using 0.8mm copper wire, and measures 18cm (7") at its widest point. All the sharp ends of the wire were filed so it won't scratch you. This heart rack would be perfect for hanging jewellery or other pretty little things from. It features three sturdy heart shapes, which I've made from 1.2mm thick steel wire. These overlap each other, and are held together with 0.8mm thick copper wire which, threaded through a mixture of beads in purple, blue and green, is decorative as well as structural. The purple and green hearts have a copper loop at the top, from which this rack can be hung. It can be nailed or screwed it to the wall, depending on the weight of the things to be hung from it. I would not, however, recommend hanging anything as heavy as a coat or large bag from these hooks, as they are a bit too delicate. Which is why I've called them jewellery display hooks :)

This piece could be hung in your dressing room, bedroom, bathroom, or any other room that needs a little decorative storage.

Red and Turquoise Butterfly - a hook in wire and glass beads

The central part of this butterfly-shaped hook is made from thick galvanised steel wire, while the main part of the wings are made from copper wire. Within these wings is an eclectic mixture of red and turquoise glass beads. This functional piece, from the top of its curled antennae to the bottom of its hook, measures 13cm (just over 5") high and is 10.5cm (just over 4") wide.

This piece can be nailed or screwed to the wall (depending on the weight of the things to be hung from it) at two points - at the top where there is a loop between its antennae, and also by a loop at the top of the hook itself. Hang it on the wall or door of your bedroom, bathroom, dressing room or indeed in any other room in your home, perhaps above a dressing table, or other place where you keep pretty things. It is suitable for hanging small items from, for example jewellery as shown. I would not, however, recommend hanging anything as heavy as a coat or large bag from this hook, as it is a little too delicate.

Glow-in-the-Dark Bat Dangle - a beaded Halloween decoration

I created this linear beaded hanging from black plastic-coated wire, the curled sections of which hold two bat-shaped and two ridged round glow-in-the-dark plastic beads, and three black glass beads. The wire forms a loop at the top of the piece for hanging.

This Halloween decoration measures 35cm (just under 14") long. It would look great hung anywhere in your home as part of your Halloween decorations (a few of these would look great under UV light at a Halloween party - look out for more coming soon), or displayed all year round to add a bit of spooky handmade style to your everyday life.

Trinity - a purple beaded heart suncatcher in three parts

This sculptural beaded suncatcher features three hearts in gradually decreasing sizes, the largest of which also has a large heart-shaped bead hanging from it. I created this piece from copper wire and an eclectic mixture of purple glass beads. I've also used steel chain repurposed from a necklace, and a ring repurposed from a keyring (which I have passed through a flame to give it a similar golden colour to that of the chain).

This suncatcher measures 33cm (13") long from the top of the hanging loop to its bottom, and 9.5cm (just under 4") at its widest part. It could be hung by a window to catch the sunlight, or in any plain corner of your home to add colour and a little quirky, handmade style.

Skully Dragonfly - a gothic pendant in steel and beads

This dragonfly pendant has been made using fine steel wire (about 0.7mm thick) and a mixture of black plastic, green glass and grey plastic skull-shaped beads. It has a wingspan of 10cm (4") and is 6.5cm (2.5") high. Wire-wrapped loops attach this pendant to black suede cord, which fastens with a loop and hook at the back in the same steel wire. Altogether, this necklace measures 48cm (19") long.

This necklace would look good with a variety of outfits. Co-ordinate it with a green or black top, clash it with a purple dress, use it to add interest to a plain outfit or wear it with an already colourful outfit for an eclectic feel - whatever you like.

I created this beaded suncatcher from steel wire and beads. Her body has been created from thicker steel wire, around 1.2mm thick, and her wings and antennae are a more delicate steel wire, around 0.6mm thick. Her wings are decorated with glass beads - some a rich, dark blue, some clear, some frosted white. Her body contains a row of three black plastic beads, and there is a black glass bead in her head.

This butterfly suncatcher has a wingspan of 15cm (6") and measures 9.5cm (just under 4") high. A loop of plastic thread is tied through a loop between her antennae, allowing her to be hung by a window to catch the sunlight, or in any plain corner of your home to add a little colourful, quirky style.

I made this heart with an outline of nickel silver wire, with an eclectic mixture of orange and yellow glass beads hanging on steel wire within. A hanging loop of plastic thread is threaded through a small loop at the top of the heart.

Black Heart - a pendant

I made this Gothic heart from 18 gauge plastic-coated wire, two red glass beads, a grey plastic skull bead, and a glittery red plastic star bead. Thrifted steel, silver-plated chain and wire-wrapped loops of silver-plated wire link it to suede cord. This cord fastens with another loop and a hook, which were also made from silver-plated wire. This combination of chain, cord and wire measures 47cm (18.5) long, while the pendant measures 5cm (2") high.

This necklace would look good with almost any outfit, but would really suit a gothic/alternative style. Wear it alone or layer it up with a longer necklace, co-ordinate it with a red or black dress or clash it with purple, whatever you want.

This dragonfly pendant has been made using fine steel wire (about 0.7mm thick) and a mixture of black and blue beads. It has a wingspan of 10cm (4") and is 5.5cm (just over 2") high. It hangs from black suede cord, which fastens with a loop and a hook at the top (see third image). I've wrapped steel wire round the ends of the cord to create these. All the ends of the wire have been filed so they won't scratch. The length of the necklace is 52cm (just over 20"), making it hang within the neckline of many outfits.

I created this butterfly-shaped beaded suncatcher from steel wire and an eclectic mixture of glass beads. These beads, with which her wings and abdomen are decorated, come in varying translucent shades of green, and varying shapes, including stars.

The lower wings of this butterfly curve into a point at the ends. Between these two points, this suncatcher measures 11cm (4.5") wide. From the tops of its wings to the bottom, it measures 10.5cm (just over 4") high. Orange Bat Dangle - a beaded Halloween decoration

I created this linear beaded hanging from annealed copper wire, an eclectic mixture of black and orange glass beads, including one large orange bead that looks like a chunk of candy, and a little black bat-shaped metal bell. This little bell hangs from the end of this suncatcher and makes a little jingly sound as it moves in the breeze. The beads and bat in this piece loop together with twists of annealed copper wire, and all this hangs from a copper wire loop.

This Halloween decoration measures 33cm (13") long. It could be hung by a window to catch the sunlight, or in any corner of your home to add colour and a bit of spooky handmade style. This stylised face (is it Spiderman or a ninja? You decide) has been made from copper wire and two pale blue button-style beads. I created this small tree sculpture from steel wire and pink wire. This pink wire loops through turquoise leaf-shaped beads, holding them to the branches and trunk of the tree.
