The Last Leaf - Handmade Lariat

A beautiful beaded lariat inspired by the last of the leaves clinging to the fall trees.

42" of fall that you can wrap around your neck in a variety of ways. Wear it long, wear it short, wear it anyway you like!

One end of this lariat features two drops of pale Ocean Jasper in shades of ivory, brown, green, and peach that have been hand wrapped with solid copper wire.

The other end of this lariat features a beautiful copper skeleton leaf that has a beautiful copper green patina. The leaf hangs with an assortment of beads that are also scattered along the length of this piece.

The length of this piece is created from lusterd ivory seed beads, peach aventurine, earthy green sick pearls, brown and green serpentine, rainforest jasper (aka rhyolite), czech glass, sparkling yellow Preciosa crystals, and solid copper beads.

All of this comes together to create a beautiful piece for your fall and winter wardrobe!

The Key of Life - Charm Necklace

Sometimes we wander...and sometimes we wonder, "What's the key to life?"

This necklace was built to symbolize some of the things that are key to a happy and healthy life.

it starts with a necklace of smooth Black Onyx beads hand wrapped on copper wire and given a patina to bring out a warm copper glow. Black Onyx is said to encourage balance in our physical and spiritual bodies. Something we all need a little help with now and then.

Hanging from the necklace is a collection of charms hanging from a variety of chain. Front and center is a vintage styled key stamped with the word LIFE. That's what it's all about, isn't it?

A stunning Labradorite briolette hangs in the mix with it's gentle reminder of clear thinking and looking below the surface to see the true meaning that lies beneath.

A small, smooth Citrine round reminds you to live in the moment and encourages a bright, sunny energy to lift your spirits in the darkest of times. Citrine is also one of the few stones that is said to never retain negative energy!

A beautiful deep red faceted Garnet, said to help focus on the true meaning and purpose of your life with a gentle balancing energy.

Finally, my favorite stone on this piece, a tiny natural double terminated Quartz bead. Quartz is said to help harmonize the body's energy and emotions in times of stress. A calming little reminder that things will keep moving, and life does indeed go on.

Also in the mix are two brass charms, one is a feather, reminding you to lift your spirits and your self to fly above the fray. The other charm is a copper plated filigree round to symbolize the moving wheel of the year and the cyclical nature of life. After all, what comes around goes around!

The necklace measures 18.75" and closes with a hand wrapped hook that can be closed anywhere on the chain. The pendant cluster hangs an additional 4.5" below that.

Goddess Skadi Lariat - Norse Goddess of Ice and Snow - Winter

Goddess Skadi is the Noise Goddess of winter, shadows, ice and snow. This 56" lariat was created in her honor full of icy blues and whites, and sparkling clear beads. Parts of this necklace are strung, other parts are hand wrapped on sterling silver wire adding texture and interest to the piece.

Glowing moonstone, symbolic of feminine energy and magic, was an obvious addition to this piece, along with pure White Howlite and Swarovski crystals in complimentary shades.

One end of this piece features a handmade, pale blue lamp work Goddess with full breasts and a voluptuous backside! Hanging from her feet is a tassel of icy Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. At the other end of this piece is a solid sterling silver s-hook that can be hooked anywhere along the length of the piece!

Essential Elemments Necklace - Earth

A simple strand of collected beads, all of which call to the earth in each of us.

Swarovski crystals in shades of topaz, cognac, brick red, and chili pepper give this necklace some sparkle while Smoky Quart and copper keep it earthy. A random assortment of Czech glass, lamp work glass, and seed beads fill out the design.

This necklace measures 17" and closes with a solid copper toggle clasp.

Goddess of Fall - Toggle Front Necklace - Sterling Silver

Fall is around the corner, and here's a Goddess who's ready for it. She's long, lean, and green, carved from a piece of green Serpentine a.k.a "New Jade". She's a lovely shade of olive green with a touch of brown on her, the perfect shade for fall, if you ask me!

She hangs from a solid Sterling Silver toggle clasp and has two beautiful Lemon Quartz roundels hanging above her to catch the light.

This necklace is an asymmetrical piece that features a grouping of Czech glass leaves down one side to evoke the energy of fall. The rest of the strand is filled out with more Czech glass leaves, roundels, and coins, chunky Smokey Quartz nuggets, Canadian Jade rounds, Peach Aventurine, Lemon Quartz, Picture Jasper, Sterling Silver spacers, and opaque brown seed beads.

The overall length on this piece is 17.75"/45.1cm with the Goddess hanging an additional 3.5"/8.9cm below that. The beads on this piece are not bulky, so it will fit a 16"-17" neck best.

All metal on this piece is Sterling Silver.

Water Goddess Necklace

From waters swift
She washes over me
and I am born again

An 18" strand of assorted cultured pearls in deep, glowing colors. Between each pearl is a tiny faceted seed bead to keep the strand moving freely.

A large 2" black lip shell donut glows with grey, green, pink, and silver. Hanging in the middle is a handmade ceramic charm, from Chinook Jewelry, echoes the swirling waters of life.

On the bottom of the shell hangs a hand wrapped collection of sparkling briolettes. Flashy labradorite frames a huge iolite drop. Each wrap is done with Sterling Silver wire, bringing with it the symbolism of moonlight and Divine Feminine energy.

Iolite is a pleochroic stone, meaning it displays different colors when viewed from different angles. A range of colors from violet blue, yellow grey, and light blue can be seen in this stone. It has also been called "water sapphire" in reference to it's watery blue colors.

Labradorite is a translucent grey stone that displays a brilliant flash of color on it's surface.

These stones were chosen for their beauty and their symbolism in this piece. Iolite is said to help one discover their hidden treasures within, Labradorite is said to encourage one to see beneath the surface and to connect one with the stars. Pearls symbolize the water element and are also symbolic of innocence and peace.

Atumnal Equinox Necklace Featuring Trey Cornette Lampwork

Another piece inspired by the changing seasons. This piece was created to symbolize the energies surrounding the Autumnal Equinox of 2008.

Front and center on this piece is a stunning focal bead made by the talented Trey Cornette at www.treycornette.com. Trey is known for his substantial focal beads with stunning, often swirling, details. This focal is a warm golden yellow, reminiscent of the setting sun in the fall, with a superb raised spiral design in an opalescent greyish green. The spiral on this bead is amazingly tactile, and just begs to be touched!

Spirals have been used for thousands of years to represent the movement of energy in our lives, the rising and setting sun, the never ending cycle of lives, and many other unknown uses.

This impressive bead is capped with two Smoky Quartz roundels, and hand wrapped on thick copper wire. Hanging beneath is a tassel of Czech glass and cultured pearls, hand wrapped on hand torched copper head pins. Below that, two warm lamp work leaves by Ingrid Hein at www.artwearables.com.

All of this glass talent hangs from a strand of Czech glass and cultured pearls.

This piece measures 16.5" with the focal hanging an additional 6.25" below that. A solid copper 's hook' finishes off the piece. Additional length can be added, just convo me prior to purchase with your request!
