I hand-embroidered this towel with a great retro design of a quirky, cross-eyed little owl. I love how cute he is! The owl is embroidered in a vibrant teal (or peacock) blue with touches of gold, red and a lighter teal blue. And to make this more appropriate for the fall season, I embroidered the little leaves in shades of orange and olive green. This looks wonderful in the kitchen or as a hand-towel in the bathroom!

This has been machine washed and dried AFTER being embroidered.

Recommended care:
Machine wash cold
Tumble dry low or dry flat
Warm iron if desired

Art Nouveau Peacock Hand-Embroidered Cushion/Pillow Cover

A simple creamy white cotton cushion cover that measures 13 inches wide by 15 inches; closes on the back side with a simple button. In the pictures, I used a standard pillow insert that measures approximately 14 x 14 inches (NOT included).
(This came to me as packaging for a cashmere sweater, so it is also perfect for packing your undies in while traveling, or great for storing and protecting that cashmere sweater for the summer.)

This is a design of a beautiful art nouveau style peacock that I have used before. I enlarged the design and embroidered in gorgeous peacock blues, greens, gold and turquoise. This will be a lovely addition to any chair, bed or sofa!

No care instructions are included with this, so I would recommend hand-washing and lay flat to dry. Iron if desired.

I hand-washed/dried/ironed this AFTER embroidering.

This bag came to me as packaging for a cashmere sweater, but I have this great vintage design that (I think) was originally used on a cushion, so I hand-embroidered this with the intent of being a cushion. However, it also is perfect for packing your undies in while traveling, or great for storing and protecting that cashmere sweater for the summer.

A simple creamy white cotton cushion cover/bag that measures 13 inches wide by 15 inches; closes on the back side with a simple button. In the pictures, I used a standard pillow insert that measures approximately 14 x 14 inches (NOT included).

The lovely senorita is wearing a sombrero hand-embroidered with pink and purple flowers. Her shirt is yellow with turquoise accents and there are large red flowers.

The frame is quite ornate and a dark silver/gun metal grey color, measuring about 6 inches square. It has an easel back for table-top only. This beautiful peacock would look fabulous at home or the office. Would also make a great houswarming gift!

This is a lovely off-white vintage handkerchief that I hand-embroidered with a vintage design of a pretty little blue bird nestled amongst lavender and purple flowers. About 10.5 inches square, this handkerchief is in wonderful condition. Nicely detailed with gorgeous pink and off-white crochet edging. So sweet to use or display!

This has been hand washed AFTER being embroidered.

Recommended care:
I recommend hand-washing this as the handkerchief is vintage and I am not sure how the edging would hold up in the washing machine. But it dries quickly and then give it a good steam ironing for a perfectly pressed look.
