Sitting, hanging, standing? at about 3 inches across (legspan!) each one of my delightful little spidies is made with 2 handmade polymer clay beads,sanded and buffed, no gloss and hand coiled copper wire for the legs.

They come complete with a decorative hook for hanging (christmas tree? window frame? toss the hook and use a ribbon to wear it in your hair?)and a printed copy of the loverly Christmas Spider legend (I didn't make this up, I swear it, see the photos :)

This not only makes a one of a kind, utterly unique gift, but you get to tell the story along with it, sometimes more valuable than the piece itself.

Please remember, these pieces are made using millefiori canes, a polymer clay technique borrowed from Italian glassmakers, the images are NOT painted on or any kind of transfer.

I've been working on these for a while and I'm happy to say they're finally available for purchase!

Standing 1 1/4 inches tall these steam punk inspired necklaces are truly wearable ART. Each heart is handformed, carved and embellished with real watch gears. After the piece is fired I sand and buff the pendant, and finish it with a variety of metal powders and paints for a super light item that looks like heavy metal. Strung on a 24 inch brass ballchain (you clip it to your desired length :) it's completed with a tiny antique brass finished key.

Standing at 1 3/4 inches tall with sterling silver bail, this pendant is a tiny work of art. Handmade millefiori canes are layered over top of a tinted base bead and carefully blended in for a seamless piece.
After the piece is fired, I sand with multiple grits and buff to a high, glass-like finish, never glossed! The finished piece is drilled and embellished with a bali silver headpin and a swarovki crystal.

Standing at almost 2 inches tall with sterling silver bail, this pendant is a tiny work of art. Layers of silver leafing sandwiched between layers of tinted translucent clay is carefully manipulated to create depth and movement on the base bead. Then handmade millefiori canes are layered over top and carefully blended in for a seamless piece.
Chain not included.
