This is a 100% original crochet toque (hat) of the mighty Cthulhu! This is the baby sized toque. The hat design and pattern were originally designed and made by me... accept no cheap imitations or look-a-likes by others that have started cropping up! This is THE original of its kind.

Made from soft worsted weight yarn, this toque will surely make your child the talk of the town during your next outing. This item is handmade and features Cthulhu tentacles and wings, and due to safety concerns, only features sewn-on felt eyes instead of buttons or safety eyes so as to not be a choking hazard for children.

This particular size fits babies and small toddlers, and both the child and adult versions are stretchy with a lot of give. If you require a newborn or older child size, please notify me upon purchase.

Cthulhus are traditionally green and unless otherwise specified, I will use a standard kelly shade of green to handcraft your toque. (See main thumbnail image.) If you wish to have a Cthulhu toque in a different color or in a different shade of green, please note that when you order and I can accommodate! Your Cthulhu toque may or may not be this exact shade of green, as monitors vary.

Note: Wearing a Cthulhu on your head is indicative of a coolness that cannot be surpassed. You know you want one for you AND for your child... see my adult toque listing to be sure you both are in style :)

Please note: Your Cthulhu Toque is lovingly handcrafted to your specifications after purchase, so please allow up to 3 business days for its creation. This gives me time to ensure I have the yarn and other supplies needed and gives me enough time to crochet and fully block your toque before shipping, all while giving me enough wiggle room in the event I've got several orders in progress at once. This is especially important as we get closer to the holiday season!

Washing instructions: Your Cthulhu Toque is machine washable on a gentle cycle, however, I recommend and prefer handwashing with lukewarm water. Lay your toque flat to dry.

This listing is for the PATTERN ONLY of my original Cthulhu Crochet Toque design, also seen in my Etsy shop for sale. This is a beginner's crochet project that requires 1 skein of worsted weight yarn or less to finish, using basic stitches. Rawr! This pattern includes sizing for adult M, L, and XL PLUS youth sizes newborn, toddler, and child. It's like 2 patterns in 1!

Materials

* 1 skein of worsted weight or sport-weight wool or acrylic, green
* Size I or H hook (or size to obtain gauge. Size I for sport-weight, H for worsted)
* Safety eyes, buttons, felt or black embroidery floss for eyes (please do not use buttons or safety eyes on baby toques)
* Darning needle
* Stitch marker

Gauge
Approximately 4 single crochet stitches = 1” in worsted weight.
