She's made from a deep black fabric with swirls of pink dots. She stands about 3 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. They're so dear, as they still have the little notes and old stamps inside and on the back. I wanted to preserve them but also make them useful again so I made these cards. They are made from acid-free archival quality papers that will protect the vintage card mounted on the front. This one features a small white notecard with a tiny black and white post card from an eastern european country on the front. Let a new generation enjoy the designs you remember from your childhood with these lovely reclaimed cards!

Measures 4 by 5 1/2 inches, comes with a matching envelope.

Shipping is free, happy holidays!

They're made from a carved styrofoam core covered in fabric and placed in a Japanese paper baking cup. They're smaller than our normal muffin cups, only about 2 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall altogether. They're very lightweight, but I made sure they were sturdy by carving each styrofoam piece to fit tightly into the cup. They will come wrapped in a pretty celophane bag tied with a coordinating ribbon, a perfect gift for any occasion!

Then I dyed it myself in hues of gold, orange, and red, and I let some of the yarn's natural color show through. Then I crocheted the yarn I made into this lovely scarf. It's nice and light, and I used an open stitch to make it airy. It measures 5 inches wide and measures a little over 5 1/2 feet long.

She stands about 3 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. Her cream colored felt belly is perfect for pins, and she's got weights in her bottom so she stays put when placing and removing pins. I crocheted it from a super chunky wool/acrylic blend in a dusty deep gray color. The scarf is tapered at both ends and has a slit in the middle. You put the scarf around your neck and put one end through the slit. There are a variety of ways to wear the scarf, and it is fully adjustable, making it a versatile accessory for any wardrobe.
Measures 3 1/2 feet long and 8 1/2 inches wide.

*This listing is for the charcoal scarf. The last two photographs are fro style only. Many thanks to my lovely model, Jill.

You'll never have that problem with these.
A set of 4 off-white hand-crocheted mug cozies keep drinks warm and hands safe. They are made to fit the standard-sized "souvenir mug" which measures 3 inches in diameter and 3 3/4 inches tall with straight sides. They can, however, fit a variety of shapes and sizes easily.
They close with a loop and a red vintage button, mismatched to make it easy to tell which mug belongs to whom. They're also a great way to unite a set of mismatched mugs.
The last picture is my inspiration, I forget which magazine it's from.

It's double ply, one is solid red and the other fades between orange, yellow, pink, and grey. It's about 21 inches long and easily adjustable to fit any size neck. The design is based on one from a Japanese magazine, shown in the last picture. I sewed a variety of ribbons onto a giant saftey pin which acts as the closure, as per the original. It gives this flirty, romantic neckwarmer a bit of punk flare: the essence of Harajuku style (And don't worry, I removed the sharp tip, so you can't hurt yourself unless you try really hard!). It's a super cool look, definately better than a normal old scarf!

I crocheted it from a super chunky wool/acrylic blend in a dusty purple color.

*This listing is for the mulberry scarf, the last two pictures are for style only. The red and pink stripes are 100% baby alpaca, and the orange stripe is a blend of alpaca and merino wool. This makes for a slightly fuzzy, super-soft scarf. I crocheted it on a larger hook than usual to give it the drape of a knit fabric while still having the beautiful stitch pattern of crochet. The long ends have little bits of 3/4 inch fringe at every stripe meeting. It measures 6 1/2 inches wide and is a snuggly 76 inches long; great for wrapping many times around.

$16.00
This is a crocheted neckwarmer I made from a super soft, lofty, single ply wool/cotton blend yarn in a pale pink. It's about 18 inches long and easily adjustable to fit any size neck.

It's a 100% bamboo yarn with a thin humane silk binder, and it is possibly the silkiest yarn ever. It is dyed a mottled olive green and has a beautiful sheen to it and a lovely drape. It measures 7 1/2 inches wide and over 5 1/2 feet long.

Pyrecantha Jelly

$9.00
Guaranteed to be a unique taste experience never offered in commercial stores, my jelly is made with wild fruits, gathered locally by hand, and organic sugar and pectin.

The taste of the jelly can be likened to a combination of many fruits. It has a lovely floral note because I added wild tea rose hips to the berries (which are also full of Vitamin C), and added a layer of rose petals on top. The Pyrecantha berries add a beautiful subtle flavor, a combination of grape fruit, pear, apple, and rose, with a spicy note reminiscent of allspice.

I used organic apple pectin to give the jelly the perfect consistency for spreading; not too soft, like honey, and not too hard, like jello. And just the right amount of organic sugar makes it perfectly sweet but not overly so. There are no artificial colors in the jelly either; its beautiful rosy hue comes right from the berries themselves.

Pyrecantha berry bushes are common as ornamental plants due to their lovely foliage and bright red berries. What many people don't know is that they are also edible. And though they are not particularly tasty right off the bush, they make a stunning jelly. I hope you thoroughly enjoy this jelly as much as I have enjoyed making it.

These jars of jelly have been processed in a sterile hot water bath and will keep unopened in a cool dry place for up to one year. Keeps for about three weeks when opened and stored in the fridge.
