Oatmeal Honey and Vanilla Soap (XL)

This is a gorgeous soap handmade with all vegetable oils, oatmeal, honey, vanilla fragrance oil and no color added. The listing is for one extra-large bar (5 - 5.5 ounces).

This soap produces a thick, luxurious lather and leaves you feeling very soft. The nourishing oatmeal adds a gentle exfoliating element, and the cocoa butter and castor oil make this a great moisturizing soap.

This is made from scratch by me using the hot process method. It’s made from olive oil, palm kernel oil, castor oil, cocoa butter, water, lye, ground oatmeal, honey, grapefruit seed extract, and Vanilla Bean Noel fragrance oil.

About the ingredients:
(In doing research on the ingredients I’ve found that they are said to have the following properties.)

Oatmeal: A nourishing and exfoliating soap additive, it is used to soothe sensitive or irritated skin.

Honey: Primarily known for its humectant and antimicrobial qualities. (A humectant is a compound that attracts moisture to itself and helps retain the moisture.) Honey is a wonderful additive to lotions, scrubs and other skin care products.

Olive Oil: Rich in vitamin e which is a natural protector of the skin. Olive Oil prevents the loss of your skin's natural moisture, softens skin and attracts external moisture to your skin. It helps keeps your skin soft, supple and younger looking.

Palm Kernel Oil: Makes a hard bar that lathers beautifully.

Castor Oil: Moisturizing oil that also acts as a lather booster.

Cocoa Butter: Acts to lay down a protective layer which holds the moisture to the skin, so it is an excellent skin softener.

Grapefruit Seed Extract: A natural preservative to give soap a longer shelf life.

Hot Processed (HP) Soap: These soaps are similar to cold processed (CP) soaps, but whereas the saponification of CP soap happens over time, the saponification of HP soap is brought about by adding heat.

All of the ingredients in our soaps are cosmetic grade. However due to allergies and skin sensitivities, it’s important to take care in trying any new bath and beauty products. Always do a spot test when trying a new soap and discontinue use if you find it irritates your skin.

This is a batch of 20 handmade tea lights. These are all mixed colors and scents, and each batch is random. The colors won't always "go" with the scents. I'm making up these "mismatched" discount batches to use up leftover wax from custom orders.

There will be at least 4 different scents in your batch. You will likely get 3-5 of each of the same scents. Please let me know if you have any extreme likes or dislikes for scents. Chamomile Neroli Soap/Shampoo (Vegan)

This is a refreshing floral soap. It is an all natural vegan soap made with chamomile and neroli (orange blossom) essential oils. This listing is for one extra large bar (5 - 5.5 ounces).

This soap produces a thick, luxurious lather, and the cocoa butter, castor oil, and hemp oil make it a great moisturizing soap and shampoo. My family has found that we can use it without needing a conditioner. It leaves our hair feeling soft and healthy.

When using shampoo bars on a regular basis, some people find they get a build up of soap residue over time. This can be cleared away easily by using an occasional hair rinse. Our family has not experienced this build up with any of the soaps we use as shampoo but your mileage may vary.

Perfect for beer lovers! This is a rich smelling soap made from all vegetable oils, pale ale, and lemongrass and lemon essential oils. The scent is like a fresh lemon bread. This listing is for one extra large bar (5 - 5.5 ounces).

Hops also soothes irritated skin, contains polyphenols thought to account for its anti-bacterial and preservative effects (beer's long life), and contains skin-softening amino acids.

Lemon EO: It boosts the immune system, cleanses the body, and it can soothe headaches and migraines. It is also used for clearing acne, cleaning greasy skin and hair, as well as removing dead skin cells and soothing insect bites.

Lemongrass EO: Lemongrass oil has great benefits as a muscle and skin toner, and revitalizes the body and mind.

This is an all natural, handmade aromatherapy massage and bath oil. It's a wonderful relaxation blend made with Lavender and Clary Sage essential oils. With this oil you can give a light or deep tissue massage and you won’t feel oily afterward. Or you can pamper yourself by adding 2 tablespoons of this oil to your bath.

This oil is also a great help for headaches. Just massage a little into your temples in circular motion.

We use amber glass bottles for our aromatherapy oils. This protects the oil from light and so helps preserve the essential oils.

The carrier oil is a hand mixed blend of sweet almond oil and grapeseed oil with added vitamin E as a natural preservative.

DO NOT USE THIS OIL IF YOU ARE PREGNANT!

About the ingredients:

Lavender (EO): A relaxing and soothing scent; sweet, floral, but crisp herbal scent with a balsamic undertone. Lavender oil has a soothing and calming effect on the nerves, relieving tension and nervous exhaustion in general and is effective for headaches, migraines and insomnia. The safest among essential oils and used extensively on babies and children.

Clary Sage (EO): Clary sage oil's greatest benefit lies in its calming and sedating influence on the nerves, emotions, female functions, kidneys and digestive system. It also helps with skin conditions like acne, boils and ulcers and cools painful muscles and joints.

Sweet Almond Oil: A great moisturizer it also helps condition the skin. One of the top choices of aromatherapists as it is good for all skin types. A very good massage oil it is beneficial for dry skin and helps relieve itching, soreness and dryness.

Grapeseed Oil: It has mildly astringent qualities which help to tighten and tone the skin. This oil soaks into the skin more readily than sweet almond oil. It is an emollient that imparts a rich, silky luster to skin while it soothes. Rich in vitamins, minerals and linoleic acid (an essential fatty acid) with no skin irritation.

Vitamin E: Among the numerous qualities of Vitamin E are it's moisturizing and antioxidant properties. Using an antioxidant will increase the shelf life of natural products and are still safe for your skin.

Pure Essential Oil (3 bottles)

This listing is for 3 bottles (1/3 oz each) of pure essential oil (EO) meant to be added to pre-made candles as a natural fragrance alternative. You choose the types of EO you’d like from the list below. Please mention the types of EO in an email or in the message to seller box on checkout.

These bottles are amber colored glass to guard against the exposure to light that is known to cause EOs to degrade. They have orifice reducer tops so the oil comes out just a few drops at a time. That is perfect for this application, since you only need to add a few drops to the candle for each application. A little goes a long way!

You may ask why not just make the candle with the essential oils the way we make candles with fragrance oils. The synthetic fragrance oils are specially designed for use in candles. Essential oils do not work well when used as candle fragrance in that way. Too much of the scent is burned off while pouring and molding the candles. So when I use EOs my craft room smells wonderful! But the candle doesn’t retain the scent well.

So I’ve come up with a solution for those who prefer natural fragrances over the synthetic ones. Simply add a few drops of the essential oil to the melted wax pool to get a wonderfully fragrant candle. Also, if you order a few different EOs then a different scent can be added each time you burn the candle. Or you can add multiple EOs to the candle to create unique blended scents.

I will include instructions on how to safely add the essential oil to your candle.

Green Tea with Lemon Soap (XL)

This is a wonderful smelling, all natural, vegetable soap made with green tea leaves and essential oil blend. There is no color added to this soap. The listing is for one extra large bar (5 ounces).

The combination of green tea and lemon make this a wonderful soap in so many ways. It’s perfect for your morning shower as the lemon scent refreshes and wakes you up. The green tea leaves also provide a gentle exfoliation.

Please take the time to read the numerous health and skin care benefits for green tea and lemon essential oil that are listed below. Lemon is well known for being good for oily skin and especially good for helping with acne. However, myself and my family have normal to dry skin and still love using this soap. It produces a luxurious lather and it leaves you feeling clean, soft and refreshed.

This is made from scratch by me using the hot process method. It’s made from olive oil, palm kernel oil, castor oil, cocoa butter, water, lye, sweet almond oil, grapefruit seed extract, lemon and lemongrass essential oils, and green tea leaves.

About the ingredients:
(In doing research on the ingredients I’ve found that they are said to have the following properties.)

Lemon EO: It boosts the immune system, cleanses the body, and it can soothe headaches and migraines. It is also used for clearing acne, cleaning greasy skin and hair, as well as removing dead skin cells and soothing insect bites.

Lemongrass EO: Lemongrass oil has great benefits as a muscle and skin toner, and revitalizes the body and mind.

Green Tea: It is very useful in cosmetic products for its anti-aging properties, cell regeneration, and firming skin. Also good for inflamed skin and will improve the gloss and shine of hair.

Olive Oil: Rich in vitamin e which is a natural protector of the skin. Olive Oil prevents the loss of your skin's natural moisture, softens skin and attracts external moisture to your skin. It helps keeps your skin soft, supple and younger looking.

Palm Kernel Oil: Makes a hard bar that lathers beautifully.

Castor Oil: Moisturizing oil that also acts as a lather booster. Castor oil is a wonderful addition to hair products.

Cocoa Butter: Acts to lay down a protective layer which holds the moisture to the skin, so it is an excellent skin softener.

Sweet Almond Oil: A great moisturizer it also helps condition the skin. One of the top choices of aromatherapists as it is good for all skin types.

Grapefruit Seed Extract: A natural preservative to give soap a longer shelf life.

Hot Processed (HP) Soap: These soaps are similar to cold processed (CP) soaps, but whereas the saponification of CP soap happens over time, the saponification of HP soap is brought about by adding heat.

This is a handmade pillar candle (3 inch diameter) decorated with a hand-painted yin yang design in black and white. The candle itself is forest green, unscented and made from a high quality beeswax and paraffin blend. This candle will burn better and longer than a candle made from paraffin wax alone.

Don't be afraid to burn this candle! It will only melt a circle a couple of inches in diameter. The sides do not melt, so you end up with a decorative AND practical candle all in one. Also, you can keep using the decorative shell even after you've burned down the original candle. Simply insert a votive or tea light into the candle cavity and enjoy! :)

This is made to fit a small to medium adult hand. It's 7 inches long and about 4.75 inches at the widest part. I made this with my own unique design. The mitt does not have a thumb but it is tapered to shape your hand.
