Good condition with a little wear and darkening on the chain and the reverse side. The design in front (with the blue plastic pieces) looks wonderful. An aigrette (from the word egret) is a feather trim, usually used on a hat. These two candy-pink aigrettes could be used to trim any special creation, not necessarily a hat! Each aigrette measures about 4.5 by 5 inches. The feathers are wired together at the ends and form a graceful curve. I am not certain what type of bird these feathers came from. I purchased these from an antique dealer but never used them. Price is for the pair.

Unusual clear glass vintage beads have a pink edge and a solid white curvy streak running through the clear glass. They look like an irregular shape of glass bead that was sliced clean through to make it flat on the front and back. Beads measure a little over one-half inch across at the widest part. Surgical steel earwires and frosted white accent beads. I was able to rescue only a few of these beads from a vintage Made-In-Japan bead necklace.

Silvertone cat pin-pendant has a small opening for a photo. Pin-pendant measures almost 2 inches high. Goldtone oriental cat pin is 1.25 inches high and is accented with a simulated pearl. Small brass-colored tac pin portrays a cat holding his paws over his ears (“Hear no evil”) and is signed JJ on the back. Slightly yellowed, genuine vintage French vocabulary cards have the English version of each word printed in dark green on the reverse side. Either side would be fun to use in your crafts. Cards measure 3.5 inches by almost 1.5 inches and are printed on lightweight card stock. The French words are printed in black. Various shades of age-yellowing, but every card is in excellent condition. They look unused, as if they simply sat in their box on a shelf and gently aged. Pretty floral design on this sweet feminine accessory. There is still some powder in it, just for authenticity, but I wouldn’t recommend using the powder now. Compact is a sweet decorative item, measuring almost 3.5 inches across. It opens with a push button at the front edge. The mirror inside is spotted. In the photo, the mirror looks a little strange because it is reflecting the trees outside my window. Bottom of compact has a ridged pattern of concentric circles. Good condition with some scratches and darkening due to age. Circa mid-twentieth century.

Circa 1970s curtains are perfect for your kitschy kitchen, especially if you already have “Merry Mushroom” canisters or other mushroom accessories. Yellow, orange, green and brown mushroom print on a beige background. The colors in the scans (last two pictures) are the most accurate. Pair of curtains, each panel measuring 29 inches wide by 35.5 inches high (from hem bottom to the very top of the heading). Good condition with a couple of slight flaws: there are two faint spots on the bottom half of one panel. You can see these spots in the last picture. They are not noticeable when the curtains are hanging in a window. There are also a few loose stitches on the end of one casing. These little problems were taken into consideration when setting the price. These curtains would be charming hanging in a kitchen window, or you may wish to use the fabric for a project. Ruler shows measurement in inches.

Warm rose pink stripes alternate with ivory ribbon-like stripes with woven floral patterns. Medium-heavyweight fabric would make a beautiful purse or two (or more). Two pieces of fabric included: one measures 19 inches wide by 50 inches long, with the stripes running the long way. The other piece measures 36 inches wide by 33 inches long, with the stripes running down the 33-inch length. Excellent condition. The woven flowers resemble embroidery. The colors are predominantly warm rose, ivory, green and burgundy, with some light blue, brown and tan. This fabric would also be good for a small upholstery project or pillows. Note: the colors in the first picture are the most accurate.

Cute yellow vintage dress with lace trim on the sides and hem. Yellow is such a cheerful color! This lemony beauty is made from a rough-weave linen-like fabric. Sleeveless dress has a jewel neckline and a distinctive flat bow accenting the back at the necklace (it snaps over the zipper). Metal zipper in back. Embroidered yellow lace is stitched down the sides and around the hem. The only tag in it says 13. No fabric labels. Bodice is partially lined with a slick synthetic fabric. Hem is finished with hem tape – nice quality! I measured while holding the dress flat and pulling it. Please compare measurements to a dress that fits you, not to your actual body measurements. Bust: 38 inches. Hips: 38.5 inches. Length from front neck to hem: 34.5 inches. Very good condition.

Fun, flirty pink and white sleeveless dress, Nelly Don label. Pretty pink and white plaid knit dress has a dropped waist with a pleated skirt that will swing and sway below your hipline. At the waistline, the sides have belt loops in case you want to use a belt with it to accent your waist. (No belt included.) White trim around the jewel necklace and sleeveless arm openings. Nylon zipper in back. Nelly Don label, Garment Union Workers label, fabric care label reads Machine Wash Warm, Tumble Dry Low. No fabric content label; fabric feels like a synthetic knit, open and breathable, not too hot for summer. The size label reads Size 14, but this is vintage size 14. The bust measures 40 inches; hips measure 39 inches. Length of the dress from the underarm to the hem is 32.5. Measurements were taken with the dress lying flat. Please check measurements with a dress that fits you. This knit has a little give and should be quite comfortable. Very good condition. Circa 1970.
