This gorgeous purse was originally designed as a custom order for a bride and bridesmaids. It is made with two different colors of dupioni silk, intricately pleated and seamed into a stunning pattern.

The purse shown here is make with Cranberry and Dusty Rose colored silk. This purse can be custom made in ANY color combination you can imagine. Please contact me with your choices before purchasing so that I can send you color samples to choose from.

The front flap of the purse features this pleating design. Pleated pieces are made from the Cranberry silk and the Rose pieces are seamed flat. The rest of the exterior of the purse is made from the Cranberry silk. The back of the clutch features a radiating pintuck detail. (See photo 3). Interior of the purse is lined in the Dusty Rose silk. There are no pockets.

Bag measurements are:

9.5" wide at top edge
1.5" deep at bottom
1" deep at top edge
4.75" tall

Every single piece is backed with fusible interfacing when it is cut to add body to the silk fabric. The purse is interfaced with a single layer of heavy duty interfacing for support and shape, but remains soft to the touch. Seams and stress points are double stitched. Bag stays closed with a single magnetic snap.

Dalla Purse - Black Geometric Brocade w/ Black Faux Leather

The body of the bag is made from a medium weight cotton blend brocade fabric. It is woven in a black geometric pattern. Some of the threads are very sleek and shiny and give parts of the design a metallic look, though this fabric is solid black. Top edge of the brocade section has some tucked detailing to add volume. The rest of the exterior of the back is made from a leather-look black vinyl.

The interior of the bag has two pockets which are also made from the brocade fabric. These pockets are 6 inches wide and 5.25 inches deep. The rest of the interior of the back is lined in a black cotton drill material. Pockets are also backed with this black fabric.

Measurements for the purse are:

Width at top edge - 11.5 inches
Width at bottom - 15 inches
Depth at bottom - 4 inches
Height (not including straps) - 12.5 inches
Strap Depth (from top of strap to top of bag) - 13 inches
Strap width - 1.625 inches

Seams and stress points are double and triple stitched. Purse closes with a single, silver magnetic snap. There are 4 silver metal purse "feet" on the bottom of the bag.

All of my jellyfish ties are made from beautiful colors of silk shantung. Shantung is very similar to dupioni (used for some of my other ties) but it has a smoother, sleeker surface quality with a more refined and less raw look and hardly any slubbiness. The smooth surface allows for the printing of more finely detailed designs.

This tie is made completely from scratch, by me. (It is NOT purchased pre-sewn and then printed). It is screen printed with an ornate sea nettle jellyfish design. The image is printed using an acrylic permanent textile ink and the print has been heat-set.

Measurements of the tie:

57 inches long from end to end
4 inches wide at bottom front
1.5 inches wide at opposite end

Jellyfish design:
8 inches tall
4+ inches wide (design runs off the edges of the tie)

All of my ties are made from either a beautiful shantung or dupioni silk. Dupioni is a richly textured silk fabric created from the irregular silk thread formed when two or more silkworms spun entangled cocoons. This silk thread is naturally slubby, uneven and fibrous. When it is woven, these characteristics are evident in the fabric's surface qualities. This gives dupioni silk its uniquely organic, natural charm. Shantung is very similar to dupioni, but it has a smoother, sleeker surface quality with a more refined and less raw look and hardly any slubbiness.

Dalla Purse - Olive and Bittersweet Abstract Floral Brocade w/ Ultrasuede

The body of the bag is made from a heavy weight cotton/poly blend brocade fabric. It is woven in an olive green and bittersweet orange abstract floral pattern. Top edge of the brocade section has some tucked detailing to add volume. The rest of the exterior of the bag is made from a bittersweet orange ultrasuede.

The interior of the bag has two pockets which are also made from the brocade fabric. These pockets are 6 inches wide and 5.25 inches deep. The rest of the interior of the bag is lined in a bittersweet orange cotton sateen, which matches the red-orange in the brocade exactly. Pockets are also backed with this sateen fabric.

Measurements for the purse are:

Leah Clutch - Black and Gold Striped Satin

Exterior of the purse is made from a fabulous black and antique gold satin weave interior decorating fabric. Front and back of the bag are cut with the stripes running vertical, side and bottom section with the stripes horizontal and flap with the stripes diagonal. Little strap casing at the top of the purse also has the stripes vertical. Strap is 3-ply satin cording approx. 3/8 inch in diameter. Interior of the bag is made from a cotton/poly blend upholstery brocade fabric. This fabric is black with a white and golden paisley design. No interior pockets.

1 1/8" deep at top edge

The fabric strip next to this brocade is a pewter dupioni silk. Side sections and the rest of the exterior of the purse are made from a black cotton corduroy. Strap is 3-ply black satin cording approx. 3/8 inch in diameter. The bag is fully lined using the same brocade featured on the front of the bag.

This gorgeous, damask print pattern is so lovely and stylish! Towards the top the image starts to become more pixelated, to create the effect of it beginning to deteriorate or fade away. This is intended, and not an error in printing. I love the way the art for this turned out! Completely unintentionally (I didn't even notice until I printed one) the larger negative space between the pattern looks like little hearts! A perfect gift for someone special or wedding parties!

This lovely tote is made from canvas printed with several shades of pink, cream, light blue and green in a beautiful retro-type paisley design and a deep pink colored corduroy.

The bottom and straps of the bag are made from the corduroy. The top section and pockets are made of the printed canvas. The inside is lining is a deep pink medium weight cotton fabric.

This bag has two layers of heavy duty interfacing to help provide shape and durability, but is still soft to the touch. The straps have belting inside. Bag stays closed with a matching button and loop closure.

Measurements of this bag are:

12 inches tall
13.5 inches wide at top opening
4.5 inches deep across bottom

This lovely bag is highlighted by a big stripe of beautiful black, white and grey brocade fabric that has gold metallic threads woven into the design. The two surrounding stripes are black 100% silk dupioni. The rest of the exterior of the bag is a grey corduroy and the underside of the strap is black corduroy. There are 4 inside pockets that are also made from the brocade fabric. Pockets are backed with black fusible interfacing to prevent snagging and fraying. The inside lining of the bag is black canvas.

There is also a swivel hook that hangs from the top inside edge of the bag to snap your keychain onto.

The front flap stays closed with two magnetic snaps. The purse has 2 layers of heavy duty interfacing to maintain shape without being stiff, and the strap has belting inside for extra body.

Silver Skulls and Crossbones Messenger Bag

This fabulous messenger bag is made with a black and silver brocade material that has lots of little skulls and crossbones woven in. Each set of skulls and crossbones are about 7/8" wide and 1 1/8" tall. I have a very limited amount of this fabric, so be sure to get one fast!

The front flap, 5 inside pockets and underside of the strap are made of this brocade material. Each of the brocade pieces are backed with fusible interfacing to prevent snagging and fraying. The rest of the outer bag is black canvas. The inside lining of the purse is a black corduroy.

Bag has a swivel hook that hangs from the top inside edge of the bag to snap your keychain onto.

All of my skeleton ties are made from either a beautiful shantung or dupioni silk. Dupioni is a richly textured silk fabric created from the irregular silk thread formed when two or more silkworms spun entangled cocoons. This silk thread is naturally slubby, uneven and fibrous. When it is woven, these characteristics are evident in the fabric's surface qualities. This gives dupioni silk its uniquely organic, natural charm. Shantung is very similar to dupioni, but it has a smoother, sleeker surface quality with a more refined and less raw look and hardly any slubbiness.

All of my ties are made from either a beautiful shantung or dupioni silk. The image is printed using an acrylic permanent textile ink and the print has been heat-set. Artwork for this tie was done exclusively for me by Matt Forcella.

This bag is made of black cotton twill and bright pink corduroy. The side/bottom panel, strap and stars are pink and the back, front and flap are black twill.

Measurements of the bag are:

Interior of the bag is lined in a black cotton drill fabric.
The bag has 5 interior pockets. All inside pockets are made from the hot pink corduroy used on the exterior of the bag. All pockets are backed in the same black fabric used for the lining. 4 inside pockets are 4.25 inches wide and 7.25 inches tall. There is also a smaller pocket on the inside side panel of the purse, perfect for stashing a phone and an ipod.

This bag is interfaced with 2 layers of heavy duty interfacing for support and shape, but remains soft to the touch. Seams and stress points are double and triple stitched. Front flap stays closed by two magnetic snaps. There is a swivel hook inside for attaching a keychain to as well.

This messenger bag is made with a beautiful white dupioni silk that is printed with a floral design in pale and navy blue tones. The front flap is made of this silk material. The rest of the outside of the bag is made from a slate blue cotton corduroy. Inside lining and pockets of the bag are made from a lightweight navy blue cotton/poly material. Two of the pockets are trimmed in a strip of the printed silk fabric.

This lovely bag is made with a blue and black brocade fabric woven with swirl designs that almost look like whales' tails and black corduroy.

The bottom and straps of the bag are made from the corduroy. The top section and pockets are made of the brocade. On the pockets the fabric is reversed, so that it looks blue with black swirls. The inside lining is black canvas.

Rhinestone Stag Beetle Messenger Bag

This messenger style purse has an exterior made completely from black trigger poplin of a nice weight. On the outside purse flap there is a stunning silver nailhead Swarovski rhinestone beetle iron-on transfer. These rhinestones are opaque silver, but have an utterly amazing shine in the light. The beetle itself is 8 inches tall and 7.5 inches wide. He's a monster!

The inside of the bag is lined with possibly the coolest material I have ever found. It is a retro-y type print of great big beetles that look just like the guy on the outside, except in amazingly bright colors! They look a bit like Egyptian scarab beetles. This lining is a lightweight silky polyester. Colors in photo don't quite do it justice. It is royal and sky blue, lime green, bright red, goldenrod yellow and pale gray. Photo 5 is a good shot if the material that was used to line the bag. Inside the bag also has 4 pockets. Because this fabric is fairly light in weight, all lining pieces and pockets are backed in white fusible interfacing, giving them much more body.

There is also a swivel hook that hangs from the top inside edge of the bag to snap your keychain onto.

The front flap stays closed with two magnetic snaps. The purse has 2 layers of heavy duty interfacing to maintain shape without being stiff, and the strap has belting inside for extra body. Most seams are double or triple stitched to guarantee durability.

Arboreal Dress

This fantastic dress was designed and constructed completely from scratch by me. The body of the dress is made from a slightly heavy weight bright green wool fabric, and a black brushed cotton of the same weight. It's definitely a fall/winter dress, but the cool weather will be here before you know it! (See last photo for close up detail of the fabrics.) The green fabric is a separate, seamed-in piece for front and back, not an appliqué on top of the black material.

Feather boa is not attached to the dress and is not included with this listing. The neckline and bottom edge of the dress are bound with a bias strip of black silk satin. This way the wool isn't actually touching your body at any place on the dress. Also adds a nice, slightly shiny accent to the matte look of the dress.

Inside lining of the dress is made entirely of the same black 100% silk satin. Dress lining is backed with a layer of washed muslin to add a bit more body to the design.
Dress has an invisible zipper closure at center back and a small hook and eye closure at the back top edge above the zipper.

This dress will fit like a glove on someone who's measurements are:

Bust: 35-36 inches
Waist - 28 inches
Hip 37 inches
Height - at least 5'5"

It will still fit very well on someone who is an inch plus or minus from these measurements.

Measurements for the dress itself, when laid flat, are as follows:

Hip - 36 inches
Width at bottom edge - 35 inches

Leah Clutch - Orange and Black Japanese Maple Leaves

This gorgeous purse reminds me of one of the best things about Autumn, the colors!

The top flap of the purse is made from three different fabrics. In the center is a lovely cotton printed with branches of Japanese maple leaves. The leaves are varying shades of burnt orange with metallic gold accent, the branches are a dull olive green and the background is black. The fabric strip next to this cotton is a luscious rust colored dupioni silk. Side sections and the rest of the exterior of the purse are made from a persimmon orange wide wale cotton corduroy. Strap is 3-ply black satin cording approx. 3/8 inch in diameter. The bag is fully lined using the same printed cotton seen on the front. There are no interior pockets.

Bag measurements are:

11" wide at top edge
2" deep at bottom
1 1/8" deep at top edge
5 1/4" tall
Strap depth from top of casing - approx. 4 1/2"

Happy Alligator Purse

This guy is so cute! Really though, he's adorable.

This purse is made of black corduroy and canvas. The alligator is lightweight kelly green upholstery velvet and you won't find anything like him anywhere else. I designed him and cut him out myself. He's just waiting for you to give him a name.
From nose to tail he's about 12.5 inches and about 6.5 inches at his tallest. He's got pretty coffee and cream brown button eyes.

The entire outside of the bag is made from black corduroy. The inside lining black canvas. There is one interior pocket that zips shut and is made from cotton flannel that has a super cute alligator print design.

This bag has two layers of heavy duty interfacing to help provide shape and durability, but is still soft to the touch. Straps is connected to bag with silver metal D rings and matching fabric tabs (all included in total strap length below). Bag itself closes with one magnetic snap.

The measurements of this bag are:

Width at top edge: 12 inches
Width at widest point: 16.5 inches

Leah Clutch - Red and Orange Toadstool Print

An absolutely adorable, fun little bag!

The top flap of the purse is made from three different fabrics. The center section is cotton, printed with a fantastic happy little toadstool pattern. Colors of the print are bright greens, orange and red. The fabric strip next to this print is a reddish orange dupioni silk. Side sections of the flap and the rest of the exterior of the purse are made from a thin wale bright red cotton corduroy. Strap is 3-ply red satin cording approx. 3/8 inch in diameter. The inside of the bag is lined in the printed cotton.

Bag measurements are:

11" wide at top edge
2" deep at bottom
1 1/8" deep at top edge
5 1/4" tall
Strap depth from top of casing - approx. 4 1/2"

This purse is interfaced with a single layer of heavy duty interfacing for support and shape, but remains soft to the touch. Seams and stress points are double and triple stitched. Bag stays closed with a single, silver magnetic snap.

Leafy Green Paisley Brocade Messenger Bag

This great big messenger bag is made of olive green colored corduroy and an amazing silk/rayon blend brocade which is woven with a lovely paisley pattern. The brocade is mainly a deep forest green, a dark minty green and a very yellow-olive green. Paisley patterns are outlined in a pink-gold color. This brocade is truly beautiful, classy and stunning. A real eye-catcher of a bag!

The entire outside of the bag is made of the corduroy material, except for a 7 inch wide stripe of the brocade which runs down the front flap.

Measurements of the bag are:

Width - 13 inches
Height - 9.75 inches
Depth - 4 inches
Strap length - 42 inches

The bag has 3 interior pockets. All inside pockets are made from the paisley brocade and backed with black fusible interfacing to prevent snagging and fraying of the brocade. One inside pocket has a zipper closing. It is the full size of the back panel of the bag, and is great for keeping notebooks and folders in. In the photo the zippered pocket is in the front of the bag (this is my personal copy of this bag) but I found that it would be more comfortable if bulky items like notebooks were stored closer to the body, so I switched it to the other side. The 2 other inside pockets are open with no hardware closure. These pockets are 4.25 inches wide and 7.25 inches tall.

This bag is interfaced with THREE layers of heavy duty interfacing for support and shape, but remains soft to the touch. Seams and stress points are double and triple stitched. Front flap stays closed by two magnetic snaps. There is a swivel hook inside for attaching a keychain to as well.

Radiating Circles Skirt

This gorgeous skirt was designed and constructed completely from scratch by me. The body of the skirt made from a medium weight wool in tan, dark brown and charcoal grey that is woven in what almost looks like a teeny tiny houndstooth check pattern. (See last photo for close up detail of the fabrics.)

Skirt is accented with three radiating half-circles made from a black/gold crossdye dupioni silk fabric. Design visible on the front is mirrored on the back half of the skirt. These sections are separate pattern pieces seamed together, NOT appliqued designs. Waistband of the skirt also has a strip of silk detailing the top edge.

Inside of the skirt if an antique silk fabric, most likely from Indian, which is printed with an intricate brown, grey and black design. Skirt lining is backed with a layer of washed muslin to add a bit more body to the design.

Skirt has a zipper closure at center back. Waistband overlaps slightly above zipper and closes with 2 hook & bar fasteners.

Measurements for the skirt are as follows:

Size SMALL

Waist - 26.5 inches
Hip - 35 inches
Waistband at top edge - 26.5 inches
Waistband height - 2.5 inches
Skirt length - from top to bottom edge - 20.75 inches
Skirt width at bottom edge - 17.5 inches (flat)

Care information - spot clean or dry clean only. This skirt CANNOT be machine washed or dried.

This skirt was designed to match the silk blouse also pictured. The blouse is available for sale but is not yet listed in my Etsy shop. It is one of the 3 pieces I took with me to my Project Runway audition in April. This outfit was show on the runway in June 08 at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. This lovely bag is made using an absolutely gorgeous printed cotton sateen. The sateen features an abstract floral design in varying shades of blue, green and cream. It's stunning!

The upper part of the bag is made from this material and the lower half and the straps are made from a deep, bright blue cotton corduroy. The inside lining is a navy blue cotton/poly blend which is very durable. There are 6 inside pockets which are also made from the sateen fabric. These pockets are backed with fusible interfacing and lined with the navy blue fabric. Pockets are about 5.25 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall.

The bag has only a front and a back, no side panels. Measurements for the bag are:

Spring Garden Messenger Bag

This fabulous messenger bag was inspired by my love of the color green and corduroy. It reminds me of a garden in the springtime, finally coming to life, with a little bit of snow left, but lots and lots of green!

This bag is highlighted by a big stripe of beautiful light lime green brocade with hints of pale pink and silvery white. Brocade is a silk/rayon blend. The two surrounding stripes are snowy white 100% silk dupioni. The rest of the exterior of the bag is a deep grass green corduroy. There are 4 inside pockets that are also made from the brocade fabric. The inside lining of the bag is a cream colored cotton sateen which is backed with a double layer of muslin (not visible) for extra body. Pockets are backed with white fusible interfacing to prevent snagging and fraying as well as to give them more body.

The front flap stays closed with two magnetic snaps. The purse has 2 layers of heavy duty interfacing to maintain shape without being stiff, and the strap has belting inside for extra body. There is also a swivel hook that hangs from the top inside edge of the bag to snap your keychain onto.

This lovely tie is made from a beautiful dupioni silk. Dupioni is a richly textured silk fabric created from the irregular silk thread formed when two or more silkworms spun entangled cocoons. This silk thread is naturally slubby, uneven and fibrous. When it is woven, these characteristics are evident in the fabric's surface qualities. This gives dupioni silk its uniquely organic, natural charm.

This tie is made completely from scratch, by me. (It is NOT purchased pre-sewn and then printed). It is screen printed with an ornate seahorse design. The image is printed using an acrylic permanent textile ink and the print has been heat-set.

This lovely purse is a brand new design that I JUST created the pattern for. It's the first one I'm offering in this style, but there will be many more in assorted colors and fabrics coming soon!

The body of the bag is made from a medium weight cotton brocade fabric. It is woven in a black, white and gray-tone paisley pattern and has metallic gold thread detailing throughout the pattern. Top edge of the brocade section has some tucked detailing to add volume. The rest of the exterior of the back is made from a leather-look black vinyl.

The interior of the bag has two pockets which are also made from the brocade fabric. These pockets are 6 inches wide and 5.25 inches deep. The rest of the interior of the back is lined in a black cotton drill material. Pockets are also backed with this black fabric.

Measurements for the purse are:

Width at top edge - 11.5 inches
Width at bottom - 15 inches
Depth at bottom - 4 inches
Height (not including straps) - 12.5 inches

Turquoise Batik Zigzag Skirt

This lovely skirt is made from two different colors of batiked fabric. The main fabric is a light washed-out turquoise blue with hints of soft lime green. The batiked design on this fabric is a deep rich turquoise color. The contrast fabric used in the skirt is a bright, pale lime green with the batiked design being almost the same color as that of the first fabric. There are 3 panels of this contrast fabric used in the skirt, 2 set slightly forward of the right and left side and one at center back. It is used for part of the facing and the rest of the skirt is the blue on blue batik. The blue fabric has an interested art deco type of design and the green fabric features a spiral design.

This skirt was made completely from scratch by me from an original pattern. Each piece of the skirt is a large, zigzag shape that is about 1.5 inches wide at the waistline and widens to 4.5 inches at the bottom of the skirt. Each of these pieces (there are 18 total) was cut individually, placed onto the next piece with raw edges turned under and double top-stitched into place. I constructed the skirt this way instead of with normal seams to maintain the sharp points along the edges of the zigzags. You can see close-up detail of how the skirt was constructed in the last photo here.

Skirt has a button closure at center back which can also be seen in the last photo. There are 4 buttons total. The skirt is fully lined and all seams that were able to be serged were. In the 4th photo I have turned the skirt inside out so that you can see the lining detail. Bottom half of the lining is a deep, turquoise cotton fabric. There is no waistband, but skirt is faced, as you can see in the same photo. At top edge of skirt there are 4 rows of stitching, each evenly 1/8 inch apart. This creates stability and extra body in this area to help it lay flat and act in place of a waistband.

Measurements of the skirt are:

Waist - 28 inches (will fit on smaller waist sizes, but just sit a little lower on the body.)
Hip - approx 42" Since the skirt is flared there is extra room in this area
Length - 25 inches from top to bottom edge
Width at bottom edge - approx 40" flat

This skirt is very flared at the bottom, but skirt shape is not a full circle, more A-line.

All fabric has been preshrunk but this skirt has NOT been washed since it was constructed. The reason for this is that my washing machine is bizarre and tends to twist things all up and I didn't want to damage the skirt by putting it in there. This skirt IS machine washable but also ok to dry clean if you prefer. Machine wash on medium temp. with like colors and tumble dry.

This great big tote purse is made of kelly green corduroy and black canvas. The alligator is black cotton velveteen and you won't find anything like him anywhere else. I designed him and cut him out myself. He's just waiting for you to give him a name.
From nose to tail he's about 12.5 inches and about 6.5 inches at his tallest. He's got pretty coffee brown button eyes.

The bag has only a front and a back, no side panels. From the bottom seam to the top it is 13 inches and from side to side 18 inches. Inside there are 6 contrasting pockets made from the outer material. Each are about 6 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall. Pockets are trimmed with a cute woven ribbon with alligator pattern. Straps are about 24 inches long and 1.25 inches wide. Purse is interfaced to help keep its shape and straps have belting inside.

This lovely tie is made from a beautiful bright lime green silk shantung. Shantung is very similar to dupioni (used for some of my other ties) but it has a smoother, sleeker surface quality with a more refined and less raw look and hardly any slubbiness. The smooth surface allows for the printing of more finely detailed designs.

This tie is made completely from scratch, by me. (It is NOT purchased pre-sewn and then printed). It is screen printed with an awesome venus fly trap design. The image is printed using a black acrylic permanent textile ink and the print has been heat-set.

Measurements of the tie:

58 inches long from end to end
3 inches wide at bottom front
1.5 inches wide at opposite end

Leah Clutch - Turquoise and Black Chyrsanthemum Brocade

The top flap of the purse is made from three different fabrics. The center section is an amazing silk/rayon blend brocade which is woven with a lovely chrysanthemum detailing. The brocade is mainly a bright turquoise blue, black and white. This brocade is truly beautiful and classy. The fabric strip next to this brocade is black dupioni silk. Side sections of the flap and the rest of the exterior of the purse are made from a very soft bright turquoise cotton corduroy. Strap is 3-ply black satin cording approx. 3/8 inch in diameter. The front and back sections of the bag are lined using a black cotton twill. Bottom and side sections of the bag are lined in the brocade fabric.

Bag measurements are:

11" wide at top edge
2" deep at bottom
1 1/8" deep at top edge
5 1/4" tall
Strap depth from top of casing - approx. 4 1/2"

This purse is interfaced with a single layer of heavy duty interfacing for support and shape, but remains soft to the touch. Seams and stress points are double and triple stitched. Bag stays closed with a single, silver magnetic snap.

Because each bag is unique and the one pictured here has been sold, the placement of the brocade pattern will vary somewhat in the piece that you receive.

It doesn't have to be summertime for you to sport this fabulously bright and cheerful tote bag. Brighten up winter spirits with a touch of color in your life! This makes a great purse, school bag, market bag or even diaper bag!

This lovely bag is made using a beautiful geometric floral design cotton printed in an array of warm colors. Design includes flowers, circles, squares, triangles and squigglies. See last photo for a close-up image of the fabric print. Colors features are several hues of red, orange, violet, pink and yellow. All in all a really gorgeous design that will definitely attract attention!

The upper part of the bag is made from this printed material and the lower half and the straps are made from a soft,bright orange corduroy. The inside lining of the bag is a true-red cotton broadcloth. There are 6 inside pockets which are also made from the printed cotton fabric. These pockets are also lined with the red solid colored cotton and are about 5.25 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall.

The bag has only a front and a back, no side panels. Measurements for the bag are:

Height - 12 inches
Width @ top edge - 17.5 inches
Width @ bottom edge - 12 inches
Depth @ bottom of bag - 3 inches
Strap length - 25 inches

This bag is interfaced with a double layer of heavy duty interfacing for support and shape, but remains soft to the touch. Straps have belting inside for extra body and durability. Seams and stress points are double and triple stitched, at the very least. Bag stays closed with a matching button and loop closure.

Autumn Plaid Hobo Bag

This fabulous, HUGE bag is one-of-a-kind, the FIRST of its kind, and absolutely fantastic! A real show-stopper!

Purse is made from an original pattern. The exterior of the bag is made from three different fabrics. The center section is a Pendleton wool plaid in gorgeous Fall colors of olive, tan, red, orange and chocolate brown. The middle sections are a bright rust orange dupioni silk. The rest of the exterior of the bag, including bottom and sides, is made from a coppery orange upholstery velvet; very soft but sturdy.

The interior of the bag is lined in two different colored cotton twills; pumpkin orange and dark dark brown. There are two interior pockets, both made from the plaid wool and lined with the dupioni silk. Purse strap is attached to the bag with two antiqued gold rings of about 2.25 inches in diameter. Zipper pull is made from several Czech glass beads in shades of pale green, peach and opaque
red.

This bag is interfaced with two layers of heavy duty interfacing for support and shape, but remains soft to the touch. Seams and stress points are double and triple stitched. Top opening zippers shut.

Measurements are as follows:

Bag opening at top - 16 inches
Bag width a center bottom - 5 inches
Width at top side - 2.5 inches
Strap length (including rings and part of strap built into bag section) - 29 inches
Inside pocket height - 6.5 inches
Inside pocket width at top edge - 7 inches
Inside pocket width at bottom edge - 9.5 inches

I only had enough of these fabrics to make ONE bag in this color combination. There will never be another! I am, however, working on more bags in this style, and can't wait to offer them here!

This bag is made of black and bright pink corduroy. The side/bottom panel, strap and stars are pink and the back, front and flap are black corduroy. The inside lining is a cotton/poly blend broadcloth.

Measurements for the bag are:

Strap - 19.5 inches long 2.125 inches wide

The bag has four inside pockets which are trimmed with pink satin ribbon. Front flap stays shut with two magnetic snap closures. All parts of purse body are double-lined with medium weight interfacing. All seams are double and triple stitched for strength. Strap has belting inside for added body and durability.

Green Polka Dot Dress

This lovely, lightweight dress is made from a vintage, poly-knit printed polka dot fabric. Fabric is grass green and is printed with a polka dot design in orange, pink, white and a lighter shade of green. Strapless bodice with full-circle skirt.

This dress has been used in a couple of photo shoots. It HAS been washed since its last wearing.

The dress is about a size medium. It will fit best on someone whose measurements are within the following:

Bust - 34-36 inches
Waist - 25-28 inches
Hip - 32-36 inches

From the waist seam to the hem of the skirt is 16 inches in length.
From the top front edge to the waist seam is 11.75 inches.
Bottom hem is clean finished. Top edge of dress is finished with narrow elastic band.

CARE INFO - Machine wash warm or cold with like colors. Tumble dry low.

Many years ago, when I was in high school, I went on a trip to Pittsburgh with a friend. We were walking around downtown and went in a local video store. There was a movie on the shelf called "Attack of the Giant Fuzzy Millipede." It looked like a fantastic, cheesy student film. The "millipede" on the cover looked like it was made from orange tarp and that black corrugated tubing you see near construction sites. Hilarious, and not fuzzy at all. We didn't rent it and for YEARS I looked online hoping I would someday get to watch it. Alas, I have never found it. This tie is my tribute to you Millipede, wherever you are.

Green and Black Herringbone Wool Jacket

This amazing jacket is made from a beautiful herringbone wool. I love working with wool and this time was no exception. The fabric is deep olive green and black. There is an accent color thread woven straight through the center of every *V* created by the weave pattern. This thread changes color from white to grey, bright blue and dark blue. The 4th picture is a very good close-up for color and fabric reference. Inside lining is a lighter olive green.

This jacket is completely handmade. I used a vintage pattern and made several alterations. All of the buttonholes I revised to be bound buttonholes (8 total). The 4th picture also shows good detail of button and buttonhole. Original pattern also called for a lot of topstitching that would have ruined the look and texture of the fabric. Instead I sewed a lot of things by hand. Pockets are both attached by hand and so is the entire lining of the jacket. Original pattern did not have lining so I drafted lining pattern pieces.

This jacket pattern was for a junior petite. Designed to fit on a 32 inch bust with shorter arms. If you are interested in purchasing this jacket please send me a message and I will provide you with several more photos and specific measurements.

This lovely tie is made from a beautiful dupioni silk. Dupioni is a richly textured silk fabric created from the irregular silk thread formed when two or more silkworms spun entangled cocoons. This silk thread is naturally slubby, uneven and fibrous. When it is woven, these characteristics are evident in the fabric's surface qualities. This gives dupioni silk its uniquely organic, natural charm.

This tie is made completely from scratch, by me. (It is NOT purchased pre-sewn and then printed). It is screen printed with an art deco reminiscent moth design. Moths are in varying sizes in sort of a flight formation. There are 2 detailed moths, the larger being about 2" tall and 3.75" wide, and there are 5 solid black months. The image is printed using an acrylic permanent textile ink and the print has been heat-set.

Measurements of the tie:

56 inches long from end to end
4 inches wide at bottom front
1.5 inches wide at opposite end

Tie is IN STOCK in the following colors:

1. Autumn Gold silk w/ black ink (this silk is a warm gold with slightly rosey tones
2. Turquoise silk w/ black ink (a little darker and more teal than it looks in the photo)
3. Red Grape silk w/ black ink

Since I do all my prints one at a time by hand, I am able to print this image on just about any of the other colors of silk you see used for the other ties in my shop. If there is a different, available color that you would like this on, just let me know and I'll confirm if it's workable.
I am happy to accommodate custom color requests and can purchase just about any color of silk you can imagine locally. Wallpaper Heart Damask Powder Blue Skinny Tie

This gorgeous, damask print pattern is so lovely and stylish! Towards the top the image starts to become more pixelated, to create the effect of it beginning to deteriorate or fade away. This is intended, and not an error in printing. I love the way the art for this turned out! Completely unintentionally (I didn't even notice until I printed one) the larger negative space between the pattern looks like little hearts! A perfect gift for someone special or wedding parties!

This lovely tie is made from a powder blue silk shantung. Shantung is very similar to dupioni (used for some of my other ties) but it has a smoother, sleeker surface quality with a more refined and less raw look and hardly any slubbiness. The smooth surface allows for the printing of more finely detailed designs.

Feather Brocade Messenger Bag

This great big messenger bag is made of bamboo colored corduroy and an amazing turquoise brocade which is woven with a lovely feather pattern. The brocade is mainly a rich turquoise blue and the feather design is woven in royal blue and a pale gold which matches the corduroy perfectly. This brocade is truly beautiful, classy and stunning. A real eye-catcher of a bag!

The entire outside of the bag is made of the corduroy material, except for a 7 inch wide stripe of the brocade which runs down the front flap.

Measurements of the bag are:

Width - 13 inches
Height - 9.75 inches
Depth - 4 inches
Strap length - 43.5 inches

The bag has 6 interior pockets. All inside pockets are made from the feather brocade and backed with black fusible interfacing to prevent snagging and fraying of the brocade. Two inside pockets have a shared zipper closing. These pockets are 6.5 inches wide and 7 inches tall. 3 of the inside pockets are open with no hardware closure. 2 of these pockets are 4.25 inches wide and 7.25 inches tall. One smaller interior pocket is 4 inches wide and 5 inches tall.

This bag is interfaced with a double layer of heavy duty interfacing for support and shape, but remains soft to the touch. Seams and stress points are double and triple stitched. Front flap stays closed by two magnetic snaps. There is a swivel hook inside for attaching a keychain to as well.

I love corduroy and have TONS of it. I can make this bag in just about any colour combination and can also change the dimensions. Let's begin by saying that this bag is one-of-a-kind! This is the ONLY bag exactly like this one that I will ever make. This is because I only had a small amount of the striped gold and pink silk used on the front flap and there is not enough left to use for another bag. Therefore, if you have your eye on this, grab it now because it shall never be again!

This awesome messenger bag is made of black cotton corduroy, a striking bright pink and black cotton printed with a skull pattern and an amazing striped and checkered silk woven in pink, black and two shades of gold. A real eye-catcher of a bag!

The entire outside of the bag is made of the corduroy material, except for a 6 inch wide strip of the skull printed cotton and two 1.75 inch wide strips of the silk fabric, which run down the entire length of the front flap. The inside lining of the bag is a black cotton drill fabric.

Measurements of the bag are:

Width - 12 inches
Height - 8.75 inches
Depth - 4 inches
Strap length - 47 inches

The bag has a LOT of interior pockets. The front and back sections of the lining have pockets the full length across. On each side a panel of the cotton skull fabric was backed in black fusible interfacing and then stitched to divide it into the pocket sections. There are 2 pockets for pens on both the front and back, each are 1 inch wide and 5.5 inches tall. There are also 2 larger pockets on each side, each 5 inches wide and 6 inches tall. There is also a smaller pocket on one inner side of the bag. This pocket is about 4 inches wide and 5 inches tall. Plenty of space for organizing all your things.

This bag is interfaced with THREE layers of heavy duty interfacing for support and shape, but remains soft to the touch. Seams and stress points are double and triple stitched. Front flap stays closed by two magnetic snaps. Bag has a swivel hook that hangs from the top inside edge of the bag to snap your keys onto.
