An especially great pair of 1980's Van Eli pumps, done in beautiful red leather, featuring the iconic heel shape of the decade. Italian quality is clearly evident, as these wonderful shoes are lined in leather, have leather soles, and are a total joy to wear!
Condition close to mint, with only a hint of wear, a few light scuff marks, minor.

Size 8 N. Made in Italy. Fit is true to size, in my opinion. That being said, please consider thoughtfully, the following measurements to determine if the shoes will work for you:
Heel height 2 5/8" inches.
Width of ball, at widest point, measured on sole 3" inches.
Width of heel, measured inside 2" inches.

McCall's 9119 vintage Misses' Wrap-A-Rounder pattern, from 1967.
Complete and uncut!

One piece wrap-arounder dress may be wrapped at back or front. Dress is sleeveless and has choice of high or lightly scooped neckline. All edges are bound with fold-over braid or bias tape. When tape is used on high-necked dress, all edges except armholes may be trimmed with rick-rack braid and dress wrapped at front; or pleated pockets may be used and dress wrapped left over right at back. With lower neckline, dress may be trimmed with flat braid and wrapped rigth over left at back.

Colors of maroon burgundy, saffron marigold yellow, cornflower blue, tangerine, white, and fuschia, with goldenrod bias trim. No scratchy lace, or uncomfortable polyester here!

Colors and print, dance in a bright and happy swirl of flowery hippie exuberance. Double sleeve treatment, with upper bell angel sleeve, layered over fitted full length sleeves, with bias ties. Two precious decorative mini bubble orange buttons on empire bodice.
Wide scoop neckline.
Maxi length dress, with self-fabric sash, to tie in back.
Center back nylon coil zipper.

Marguerite Rubel, San Francisco 1960's opera clutch coat, in a magnificient color, actually known as Wild Cherry, way back in the 1960's, when this coat was made.
Dramatic hooded cape swing style, has raglan sleeves, two front slash pockets, and is fully lined in gorgeous harmonizing soft cherry red satin fabric.

This fine Italian velveteen coat has just been professionally cleaned, so it is ready to wear and enjoy, right out of the box!

Condition is very, very good, with the following noted. Inside right lining has two stains. Some miniscule fleck marks on the velveteen, minor, and virtually imperceptible.

Size is estimated to be within the Medium to ML range, and will fit a variety of shapes and sizes, due to the ease of the wrap style.

As 70's as possible, here is a fab novelty print shirt, in a soft, stretchy comfortable poly knit.
I don't even usually like polyester, and I love this one! Powder blue, with a space age orbiting satellite and stars galaxy print, that makes me think of the Jetsons.

Pointed collar, double buttoned cuffs. Label has frayed; we can see that the shirt was manufactured in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong, which is always nice to know. Condition is very good. Shirt has been freshly hand-washed and air-dried.

If you love space themes and The Jetsons, then this is the vintage shirt for you!

Jacket has the strong, bold shoulder line that is a key look this season!

Dating from the eighties, with distinct signature styling of both the decade and the designer.
Deep pockets, wrapping from front to back at the sides.
Shoulders, shaped and bold.
Elongated, fitted at the hip, creating the "V" shape of big shoulders to narrow, tapering torso and hip.

Outstanding Leegin tooled leather Western belt, in rich shades of dark and medium browns, with two inset silver Buffalo nickels, and a solid brass oval buckle. Buckle is securely double-riveted, and I've polished it with Brasso, to bring out its excellent metallic shine. One rivet is factory dented a bit, adding to the thoroughly authentic rodeo look.
Estimated era 70's / 80's.

Slightly distressed, excellent worn-in patina. Belt has been conditioned with leather polish.
Indian head faces up on one coin, and buffalo shows on the other ~ really a cool belt.
Get that fabulous Sundance Catalog look, for much less, and vintage makes it even better!

Such a cute box purse, from the sixties! The look of wicker, woven in vinyl, in a darling light powder blue color, with very cute goldtone hardware and chunky chain handles. The gold clasp is well-designed, and the purse opens to reveal a robin's egg blue vinyl-lined interior. Purse has a center zippered compartment, with one of those really neat old brass zippers, with a round pull.

Brass feet steady all four corners of the base, which is hinged with more brass hardware. A great little vintage bag to cherish!
Condition is darn good, with only minor smudging and a touch of wear from use.

Joan Crawford shoulders. Belt with chain hardware. Deepest Blue/Black with white polka dots. Pencil skirt. Foxy!
Zipper at skirt front, with clear concealed button placket, up the bodice.
Glossy black buttons trim the faux pocket and top of dress.

Older Ball Perfect Mason aqua blue green glass jar, filled nearly full, with hundreds of vintage buttons!
A wide assortment, including some mother of pearl, in various sizes. Plastic and fabric-covered buttons, as well as some metal ones. Assorted beads too.

Jar would be great for display or craft storage, and buttons are perfect for crafting, and sewing repairs. The lid has a nicely aged, grey patina, and still has the original red rubber stopper.

Diane Freis Posh Mixed Prints Ruffled Peasant Fantasy Blouse and Skirt Size Medium (estimated)

I'm such a fan of Diane Freis, and I collect them. In fact, my collecting is out of control, and therefore, I offer this fabulous set of two pieces, blouse and skirt.
Done in her famous 100% polyester georgette fabrication, this 80's set is floaty and fabulous, with much ruffled drama! Made in Hong Kong.

Color palette is a glorious peachy pink apricot, enhanced with beautiful florals and stripes of blue, green, yellow, cinnamon tan, and red. Ties at neckline, with the characteristic tassels. Ruffles abound - at neckline, at bodice with double rows, at skirt pockets' edges, and around the skirt, in multiple rows.
Small shoulder pads. Sleeves slightly puffy and gathered, under the ruffles.

Outfit is in great condition, save for the following issues: Skirt waist elastication is in need of replacement, as are the wrists' elastic. There is a very faint stain on front bodice, under the green flower. Set has been priced accordingly, and I'm selling it as is.

Has been hand-laundered; it's incredibly easy to care for.
I have seen online shops, in which Diane Freis pieces have been nicely reworked, and this set could very well be a candidate for such treatment. ( and by the way, they sell for a great deal of money.) Personally, I would simply replace the elastic; any good sewing professional could do this, or if you sew, it woud be a worthy project.

There is no size tag.
I estimate the set to be within the Medium to ML size range.

Folkloric stripe print 100% cotton plisse vintage dress.
Cute cute cute!
Eight navy blue buttons up the front placket. Buttoned cuffs. Darling collar. Handmade garment, and sewn quite well. Darted bust, angled from armhole. Handmade threaded belt loops! Back yoke.
A medium-sized 8 to 10, more on the 8 side of things, or the smaller side of medium. Comfortable and quite fun to wear.

Judging by the shape of the collar and the print, this adorableness dates from about the late 1960's to early 70's.

In very nice condition, save for one slight stain at bodice; not noticeable, due to print, and there are pen marks, inside the collar. I have hand washed the dress, so it is ready to wear and enjoy.

Lots of vintage personality, in this totally cute, late 50's / early 60's pig coin bank.
A stubby little fellow with an oval snout, wrinkled face, and little lidded eyes, he is really quite loveable!

Banks like these were meant to be broken, once they'd been completely filled with coins. Marked with the Anchor Hocking symbol, and the number 22, on the translucent, smooth glass base.

Flashed with minty chartruese paint, over the glass. Other colors once available included blue, red, and yellow. The green color is particululary appealing.
Ideal for modern children's room decor, or that special piggy bank collection.

Simplicity 1677 Misses' and Women's Two-Piece Dress ~ Size 14, Bust 32.
From the mid-forties. 12 pieces given. Cut and complete.

The front buttoned top is tucked at the front shoulders and darted in back. A double ruffle peplum graces the front for hip interest. The extended shoulders and cuff trimmed bracelet sleeves are cut in one with the bodice front. In Style I a double peplum is faced with self fabric. In Style II the peplum is finished with a double bias binding. The slimly flared skirt is made of contrasting fabric.

Billie Holiday's hauntingly romantic version of a song and a department store from the past, meet in this vintage Bullock's Wilshire mohair coat, trimmed by Joules with sweetly tattered violet flowers.

Fleurette California ~ Bullock's Wilshire label.
Milk cream colour, winter white spring coat in a suberb fabrication.
Princess seaming, fully lined, two deep pockets, and all buttons present. Excellent condition, and very beautiful!

No size is indicated. Semi-fitted A-line style ~ approximate size 8 to 10, a smallish medium, by today's standards. I would guess that a person who wears a true size 6 might also be able to wear the coat. Please check measurements, to be certain:

Light scuffs on right heel, one small nick. Slight scratch on left heel. Lifting of insole, at right front, minor. Overall, the shoes are nearly pristine.

I had fun with this beautiful slip, turning it a rich shade of deep rose scarlet pink, which I'm calling Cheerwine, because it reminds me of the color of that vintage, delicious soda pop brand.

This great slip has all the wonderful vintage detalis, including a mitered embroidered lace v-neckline, and a lace-trimmed hem.
It is a fine old vintage brand, which I forgot to note, before overdying, and now I can't quite read the label, nor recall. The slip is a Size 44, that much I do remember!
Color is purposely variegated, to lend a uniquely charming, one-of-a-kind look.

Movie star dramatic, with fabulous forties flair, this authentic 1940's quilted bed jacket is cloud soft, and supremely luxurious.

Apricot satin, complelety lined in solid burgundy maroon satin acetate. Puffy dimensional quilting, in diamond shapes and a repeated abstract pattern that echoes the awesome applique design, is found on both sleeves, as well as the right front.
Jacket has not been dry cleaned; tiny, slight smudge on front, will likely lift, quite minor. Overall, this sensational lounging garment is in near mint condition, and essentially as it was when new, sixty or more years ago!

Tag says Size 12. Please know that this dress is smaller by modern standards, more like a smallish medium, or about Size 8 to perhaps 10.

Patch pocket on right side, so useful and cute!
Five navy blue buttons up the front, with snap closure at waist. Inner self-fabric ties to secure, where dress wraps under in front.
Buttons are distresed and slightly crackle crazed, which I happen to think adds to the funky appeal. Fabric is nicely softened through washing, in good, clean condition. Go large with Zoom feature of the photos, to see the interesting detail of the fabrication.

Real facings!
Threaded belt loops, no belt though. Various belts, jewelry, accessories, and tee shirt shown, are not included with the dress.

Young Edwardian By Arpeja Black Forest Dark Floral Dress Vintage Size 9

Fine example of the iconic vintage juniors label, Young Edwardian By Arpeja.
Dress was probably designed by Sue Wong, during her tenure with the firm.
Dark floral is lush and rather mysterious.

Peasant style is generously fashioned, with curved front and back yoke, deeply gathered. Front placket is buttoned with four pearly apricot buttons.
Three quarter length, gathered full sleeves, with banded cuffs.
Self-fabric tie sash, with thread loop at neckline, to keep it together with the dress, while on the hanger.
Two pockets on side seams.

At some point, the dress was shortened (not by me) and hemmed. It's current length is quite wearable, and flattering.
Light stains on a few of the white flowers, blending into the print, not glaring. Overall, condition is very good, with that exception.

Freshly laundered ~ ready to wear and enjoy! Would be really cute, worn with a wide belt.
Fabrication likely a rayon cotton blend, though not stated on tags. Care label reads:
Hand Wash
Mild Soap
No bleach, squeeze lightly to dry.
Cool iron reverse damp.
Can be dry cleaned.

Junior Size 9, or a smallish medium of today.

100%, soft, comfy cotton, easy-fitting, medium-sized shift style, scoop neck sleeveless dress. Cute solid blue contrast panels on the sides, with four ties, lend a nice degree of adjustability, at the waist and hip areas.
Patch pocket at right front. Darted bust.

Purse has a wonderfully worn-in patina, that will polish up beautifully. Loden green leather, compliments many wardrobe colors; this is a very nice bag!
Made in U.S.A. The older vintage Coach bags, like this one, are most desirable, due to the high level of craftsmanship.
Purse was conditioned with leather moisturizer, right after these photos were taken.

Tulips Cotton Skirt Vintage Fabric High Waist Upcycled Jeans By Joules

Late 1980's Marithe et Francois Girbaud high-waisted jeans, restyled/ transformed into a skirt, by combining with a 1950's vintage cotton dress skirt, with the coolest tulips print. I made this one.

Large box pleats showcase the tulip flowers. Skirt has lots of twirl power!
Print has soft blues, emerald green, and aqua, with black and white in a striped grid pattern. One of the nicest prints ever, this skirt never fails to garner compliments, whenever it is worn, quite honestly.

Medium size skirt ~ high-waisted jeans have a 5" inch metal zipper and riveted button, with five belt loops, and a leather patch on back waistband. Two large patch pockets in back, with that flattering Girbaud "V" detailing at center back.
Pleats are in the front only.

Waist 28" inches.
Hip 38" inches.
Center back length 33" inches.

Vintage leather trench coat, in an unusual steel blue grey color! Big leather buttons, fitted princess seaming, seam-detailed patch pockets, and a matching sash belt. Notice the fab curved styling of the lapels, plus the topstitching. Curved back yoke, with triple vertical seam detail below the yoke, echoing the pocket details, and providing more fit and back interest.

Tag indicates Size 14, which is approximately equivalent to today's Size 8 to 10.

Lace Cafe Au Lait Miss Elliette Vintage Early 60's Dress Size XS

Increasingly collectible vintage label, Miss Elliette California, is well-represented in this very lovely lace dress.
Lace fabric of the bodice and sleeves is positively gorgeous, and the enchanting cafe au lait cream color is pure delicate beauty. An early example, the Miss Elliette California label is present. There is no size tag; I estimate the dress to be a Size XS, or about Size 0 to 2.

100% cotton, with a fabulous deeply hemmed sheer cotton voile skirt, finely pleated into the waist. Back metal zipper, zips to mid-shoulder, with hook and eye closure at back neckline, to slightly reveal the upper back of the wearer. Additional hook and eye above the zipper. Double darts from waist, front and back, for fitted silhouette.

Dress has an attached matching light color cotton slip underneath, a wonderfully feminine feature. Bias fabric finishes the gently scooped neckline and three quarter length sleeves.

Carefully hand-laundered, air-dried, and ironed. I've repaired a small tear in left sleeve. Tiny discoloration, from a wisp of dark thread, somehow within the hem, minor; I doubt you will notice.

Please check the measurements, allowing for ease, as this is a very small, petite garment.

Very elegantly designed deck of vintage cards, made for Compagnie Générale Transatlantique. Backs of the playing cards feature what presumably was the then logo of the company, a gorgeous Deco style illustration, of the famous S.S. Normandie luxury ocean liner. This suggests that the cards date between the launch of the ship in 1932, and prior to its demise, in 1946.

I love the telescoping box too, which is in super nice condition, as are the cards.

New and pristine, in its original satin-lined striped gift box, and the color of mossy green agate money, this lovely leather gift set, is from the sixties. Made by Prince Gardner, of St. Louis, Missouri, this is the Athena Princess wallet and key gard set.

Both pieces are beautifully embossed in gold, with scrolling leaves and flowers. Just right to carry, inside a vintage lover's purse, for the totally authentic look of the decade. You know, Mad Men and all that.

Wallet has a coin compartment, a pocket, a billfold area, and vinyl inserts, including the original price tag and literature. Inside the key gard interior pocket, is company literature detailing their generous rewards program, for lost key gard return. Very sweet of them, although I'm not entirely sure if the program is still in effect however, of course.

Particularly lovely La Regale Ltd. beaded bag, is entirely covered in sparkling iridescent sequins and white seed beads. Purse is fully lined in ivory white satin, with an interior pocket, and silver snap closure, to secure the flap.

Dimensional rows of curvy "C" shapes beautify the front of the purse, adding to its distinctly vintage, elegant appeal.
Condition is excellent, very clean, with slightest smudge on lining. Label is unattached at one side.

Miss Elliette California is one of my very favorite vintage junior dress labels.
Their designs always seemed to pull out all the stops, in a highly original way, with excellent quality construction, and natural fabrications of soft cottons.

Truly lovely yellow cotton voile party dress, with a most fancifully accordian pleated ruffled skirt, features a glamorous rhinestone buckle bow at waist! Elegant and playful at once, this is a charming dress that will definitely delight.

Center back 24" inch zipper.
Fully lined bodice. Yellow triple tiered fabric underskirt, is also completely lined, in soft white cotton batiste.
Hook and eye at center back neck, above zipper.
Double hook and eye at center back attached waistband detail.

Condition is especially nice. Tiny hole, hidden within pleated ruffle section, and merest wisps of stains on bodice. I'm confident these will lift with dry cleaning, as they are only evident in the strongest light.
Estimated era is early 1970's.

Size estimated to be in the Small to perhaps the extra small range. Please consider the measurements thoughfully, allowing for ease. (Shown on dress form, on which zipper could not be fully zipped.)

Shoulder to shoulder 14" inches.
Armpit to armpit 17.5" inches.

Vintage and the real deal! Tubular cylindrical slices create sew-through log buttons, of the richest ebony black Bakelite, with smoothly angled edges. One inch in length, and about one half inch in diameter.

It's nice to find this many Bakelite buttons in a set. Very useful for embellishing vintage fashions, jewelry-making supplies, and so forth. You will receive all twelve (12), the entire set!

Red Delicious Vintage 80's Bullocks Wilshire Cotton Dress Size 14 (Estimated)

Bullocks Wilshire, a luxury shopping mecca of yore, once sold lovely summer dresses, among other fabulous things, for the ladies of Los Angeles.
Here is one of them!
Bullocks Wilshire Wynshire, Robert Leonard label.
100% cotton.
1980's era.
White glossy buttons, all the way up the front. Delicious bright red color, with an abstract splash print!

Cuffed sleeves, trimmed with white piping, as is the entire collar and front edge, near buttons, plus the two large patch pockets in front. This vintage dress is a winner!

Narrow back waist elastication, not quite as springy as it once was; could easily be remedied, or simply wear the dress belted, as shown. (Belt is not included.) Otherwise, condition is excellent, no flaws.
Shoulder pads give it flashback forties style, a la eighties.

Professionally cleaned, so the dress is ready to wear upon arrival.

Modern day Size L to XL or about Size 14, estimated. Please consider the measurements thoughtfully, allowing for ease of fit:

Novelty print shows a map of the islands, along with stylized hibiscus and jasmine flower blossoms.

Softest 100% cotton fabric. Back zipper and train effect pleating, for easy breezy fit.
Lovely neckline shapes, both front and back.
Dress has been shortened and hemmed at some point (not by me).
It is a wearable, supremely comfortable length.

The real deal! Famous maker Tony Lama cowboy boots, in golden honey caramel brown leather, with a great deal of decorative flame stitching, pegged soles, and that very desirable vintage black label. High underslung heels too.

Well constructed boots, with integrity ~ classic Western style.
Great slightly worn-in condition, but not at all thrashed! Cowboy boot perfection, for a lucky guy.

Lots of good leather on the soles (no holes!), and heels are in darn good shape too, with minimal wear.
Black label indicates the boots are at least from the eighties, if not an earlier 1970's vintage. In the eighties, the black label was used to indicate a higher level of quality/special materials, and so forth.
