Pastel pink (a GREAT batch - finally!!) under lots of periwinkle swirls and a ton of fun murrini make this bead a festival of springtime fun. I know, spring is a ways away but I can dream of cooler days filled with flowers.

Fresh and chilly, these snowflakes and stars dance around a white bead decorated with lots of dots and streamers in a lovely steel blue. Makes me want to sip some cocoa while listening to Perry Como. :)

No special glass or tools are necessary for using this tutorial but here is a list of the supplies I used for making the beads in this tutorial:

 Vetrofond or Effetre black rod
 White stringer
 Transparent light grass green stringer
 Vetrofond black stringer pulled very fine
 Vetrofond or Effetre ivory rod
 Pink stringer (for bow) - optional
 Any orange or coral rod
 Brown, tan or green thick stringer for stem
 Variegated green stringer for leaves
 Optional thin green stringer for tendril
 Various pokers—
***** Fine point (for nose)
***** 1/8” blunt point (for eyes)
 Xacto knife
 Lentil or Straight sided lentil press (optional)
 Parallel mashers (instead of lentil press)
 Tweezers
 Marver

This is a step-by-step tutorial for making some of my Halloween beads. Learn how to make bats, pumpkins and skulls for lots of fun this Halloween!

This tutorial is 21 pages with over 30 pictures showing the steps for making the beads and also has pictures of the finished beads.

You need to have some lampworking experience before making these beads. If you can make a round bead and have some heat control mastered, you can make these beads, though.

Please be aware that safety information is not included in this tutorial and I cannot be held responsible for any injuries or damages. Read up on torch safety before attempting any of the beads in this tutorial.
