Girly Girly Handspun Sock Yarn

$35.00
Pink, red, purple, pink, and oh yeah...pink. This is superwash merino handspun yarn, put up in 200yard hanks. Each hank is enough to knit a pair of short socks. It's super soft, super washable, and super cute. Make some socks this summer!

200yards, 2ply, superwash merino wool.

NOTE: One hank has a small join about 2/3 of the way in. I have included an extra 10 or so yards to compensate for it. The join is in a section of continuous color so you don't have to undo it if you want to keep knitting, but I know some people are particular about knots. Hence the extra yardage.

Chlorophiliac II Handspun Wool Yarn

$25.00
Photosynthesis never looked so good. Chlorophiliac II is a handspun yarn for those who really, REALLY like green. One ply is nearly solid spring green; the other is a range of greens and almost-blues that fade in and out of each other. Coming in at about 100 yards in a light worsted/DK weight, there's just enough here to add a bit of Spring to your project.

80% wool, 20% mohair, 2-ply handspun yarn. Slightly different than the original Chlorophiliac; it's more muted but still very, very green.

Deep Forest Handspun Sock Yarn

$30.00
Have you ever tried to knit socks for a man who's just too picky about not wearing 'bright' colors, but you're sick of plain grey and black? Try this yarn for size. Full of muted greens and browns, it's manly enough for the most selective guy and still interesting for the knitter. The colors make me think of a dark, shaded forest, and they even have the approval of MY very color-picky husband!

Each skein 200yards, 2ply, superwash merino. A skein is enough to make a pair of socks for a women's size 9 with a little left over. If you are knitting larger or taller socks, you might want to get a second skein.

It's a delicate, softly variegated color that will become a gorgeous bag, hat, or scarf. Use it with a coordinating yarn (angora bunny, perhaps?) for a pair of warm, ladylike mittens.

100 yards, 2.2oz skein, wool/mohair

Custom Art Scarves

$80.00
NOTE: The specific scarves in the picture are not for sale; they are samples only. I can create similar ones for you, but NO TWO ARE ALIKE.

You choose 2 or 3 main colors or one color family, then let me know if you want Animal, Plant, Synthetic, or any combination of the three. I will do my best to accommodate allergies and vegan/vegetarian requests. PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU ARE VEGAN--many yarns have a small percentage of animal fibers in them and I need to know whether or not it's okay to use them.

For the listed price, each scarf contains the following:

9 yarns repeated 3 times: 27 color blocks
A black crocheted border

For each additional yarn, add $10. (This will add about 9" to the scarf)
For each additional border, add $10.

Color families:

Warm: Violet, Red, Pink, Yellow, Warm Green, Orange
Cool: Purple, Blue, Cool Green, Aqua
Neutral: Brown, Black, White, Natural, Grey

For reference, the more variegated scarf was done in the base set of 9 yarns and one border. It contains 3 families: Red, Purple, and Green. The blue scarf above contains 12 yarns and 2 additional borders. It was also done in 3 Cool families: Green, Blue, and Purple.

If you want more control over how the scarf comes out, you can choose by color (Pink, Brown, Warm Green, etc) and your scarf will contain only shades of those colors.

If you want to be adventurous, you can say "Surprise me with Warm" and you'll get 3 random warm colors. Same goes for Cool and Neutrals.

The texture is random, too. This is a scarf that will never bore you. :)

Average scarf takes 2 weeks to make, and allow 1 week for shipping. Please plan accordingly. I will do these for winter holiday gifts, but any orders placed after USA Thanksgiving will require an additional $15 to rush.

Example Animal yarns: Cashmere, Alpaca, Wool, Angora, Mohair, Buffalo, Llama, Silk.
Example Plant yarns: Cotton, Linen, Soy Silk, Banana Silk, Bamboo.
Example Synthetic yarns: Acrylic, Plastic, Tencel, Microfiber, Rayon, Metallic.

The hat will fit a 16"-22" head--so it will grow with them. The scarf is 36" long and 5" wide; just enough to tie on a child or tuck into a coat on an older teen.

The colors are muted blues, greys, greens, and the barest hint of lavender, so it's probably better for a girl than a boy, but it could be worn by either gender if they so chose.
