When Could This Happen Print

Looking at this image, I see what's typical for me...creating something that is fictional. On the other hand, my pattern that I designed in the background was created with layers and shapes and other self-made fabric patterns aiming to have the appearance of worn fabric. So, I then imagined worn soft slightly sheer drapes and deep red foliage outdoors which show through.

Printed on Epson's finest matte finish paper sized 8.5 x 11 paper with at least 1/4 inch of white surrounding the image.

This morphan scene sees much lime in the upper left corner, deep aqua, gold and bark. Busy birds are waiting for spring. But, this transition is confusing them.

Printed on heavy matte finish Epson paper, these Morphans sit in the sun awaiting your arrival.

Soft hues of petal and beet embedded within the trees against a buttery yellow. The branches and distressed markings release a soft bleed of sepia tones.

This color on my monitor show the yellow too bright compared to its actual color. It is very similar to butter.

The first large print offered in the Morphed series! I can't tell you just how beautiful this print is. I'm so thrilled that it has printed out so fantastic!!

Magnumfied On the Move is 16W x 20T and has at least one half inch of white surrounding the image.

You'll see the beet color that bleeds into the distressed trees along with a bit of sweet pink and buttery yellow. The background is a cool soft green with about ten percent of a blue hue blended within.

My images generally show intentional distressed markings throughout.

The birdie in the print is over three inches across.

Poplar Leaves Gocco Print Allure to Fall

Enjoying the thought of fall days and crisp leaves falling to the ground.

I enjoy putting a spin on images from nature, this print is no exception. I'd like to find it in a child's room, kitchen, entry way or office.

Poplar leaves was produced one of my Gocco's. My intent was to show off registration because it's just more interesting to me. The paper is has a felt-like feel, it's pale yellow and 80lb text similar to 60lb cover, the deckle is at the left of the print the brand is Brockway color is ivory, size is 8.5 x 11 with plenty of space around the image for framing. Brockway sure makes an excellent printmaking paper.

I'd love to create some wedding invitations or save the dates with this sort of theme and pattern!

I took this photo of an abandoned building, adding my own distressed marks with gouache, scanning the work and applying it to my photo. I liked that the branch was sneaking into the room, the contrast of the white and mossy green an the mass of branches outside the window. It can't really be lonely in there with all that growth, now can it?
